    The only part I didn’t like was the decapitated terminator doing a headless horseman impersonation. Even assuming that it’s possible for the head to somehow contact the body and take remote control of it, how would the body be able to see in order to effectively move around? Also, considering that the head was forcibly ripped from the body, most likely causing quite a bit of damage to the neck, how is it going to re-attach it? In the first movie, it took Arnold a while just to fix a jammed rod in his arm.

    22, well some unknown tech I assume…

    But you are right, in the real world metal is recycled or in this case in 1999 they would have found the ‘dead’terminator and investigated it like in Cyberdyne systems. I can’t believe that they would let something like this slip.

    Also for some people to change from reliable to snitch I can not imagine that either.

    Apart from this, this show is much better than the new Bionic Woman

    Johnny: no there isn’t!

    In the T3 movie, Sarah Conner died in 2005.

    But in the first episode of the TV show, they time-jump from 1999 to 2007. By doing that, they completely erase all of the events in T3 from the canon. The series is now able to develop its own storyline and totally disregard anything that happened in T3.

    I have been a massive fan of the terminator franchise since it’s beginnings. Terminator 2 surpasses the trilogy, with terminator 1 not far behind.

    In this shows defense, it does offer a unique alternative view that neither terminator 3 or the future terminator trilogy will be able to explore.

    It seemed ridiculous at first, but the idea of a young female terminator, has grown on me. don’t get me wrong, there are many flaws, the actress playing the terminator, slightly “looks” the part, but can’t “act” the part as well as she could. But, all in all i except it for what it is. An entertaining 45 mins, that is more faithful to the franchise than terminator 3. Put it this way, terminator 3 has eased the blow for anything else that follows.

    They plan on making another trilogy of terminator films set AFTER judgment day. I would have been excited by this concept, lets say if James Cameron was directing. And Edward furlong and Arny were to star. Unfortunately, I see it following the trend of the alien vs predator franchise…

    although rumors are christian bale will star as john o connor. You can’t get any better than Edward Furlong though.

    I like this series. It has a new feeling but still has some of the essence of the terminator trilogy.

    Don’t give up on it just yet as I see many new things that will be revealed.

    @ 29 – Johnny: If the carefully watch near the end of the episode while they’re leaving the freedom fighters apartment and the terminator is chasing them, you see a man lean up against a fence in a cutaway shot (near the building I’m guessing) with a barcode tattoo on his arm. This would probably be the fourth fighter, and he’ll more than likely be following the Connors or contacting them in a future episode.

    I loved this episode. The action sequences are unbelievable! They have done such a great job…

    While Arnold is most strongly associated with the terminator character, I think that a film set in the future could succeed without him, IF it was done properly.

    Unfortunately, it won’t be. People want to see action scenes like they saw snippets of in the first two movies; Huge HK tanks rumbling across the land, flying HKs chasing down fleeing humans, armies of terminator endskeletons marching across the screen shooting at anything that moves.

    What we’ll get is more likely to be a 90 minute drama of a bunch of rebels making a trek through a burned out city that resembles somewhere in Eastern Europe (which is where it will be filmed) while occasionally encountering a human-looking terminator that will show tiny bits of metal when shot. There will probably one or two big FX scenes that will last all of about 5 minutes total and the rest will be actors in ragged costumes trying to act like they’re some of the last humans on Earth. One of the characters you’ve come to trust will be revealed to be a terminator near the end, just so that the film can have a big twist. What scenes you do see of terminator endoskeletons or HKs will be cheesy CGI that looks like it was meant for a Terminator video game rather than a movie. It will crap all over the Terminator mythology worse than T3 or the show ever could.

    Some people here actually think this show is good? lol.

    There is not an ounce of original thought put into this show. It is an extremely low budget show that tries to duplicate T2 but they do it badly. This show could be forgiven if it at least had good stunts and effects but it doesn’t.

    This show will only last until the writer’s strike is over.

    I feel sorry for Summer because I really enjoyed her in Firefly and Serenity.
