WATERS have just released a Terminator Salvation movie special which includes interviews with stars from the movie including Christian Bale and also the director McG. I havent seen the movie yet as it doesnt come out until Thursday here but ive already got my tickets booked

You are not missing much. I'm an Aussie and i tell you this movie is such a MASSIVE let down except for Sam Worthington.
I was looking forward to this movie for sooooo long and what i ended up watching was a Bayformers style PG-rated piece of commercial bulls@#t.
McG has made himself another Charlies Angels: Full Throttle. He should seriously go back to writing music for teeny-bopper musicians cause this movie is a disgrace to the Terminator series.

Really, another Charlies Angels? Seriously, it was a decent film. As good as 1&2? No, but head and shoulders above the third and a decent action movie.

yeah, this movie is such a let down. If only they make it like the original rated R, violence, more blood, and some titties. Because the Terminator supposed to be one badass machine, not like some girly-men.

There is no plot!! Nothing happens resembling a story in this movie!! Crap action sequence after crap action sequence. ALL of which were in the preview.
The only character with any personality in the movie is a machine. Go figure. As someone who waited for this movie since i heard Bale signed on, it was one of the worst movies i've seen in years.
Someone needs to stop Michael Bay and McG making movies. NEVER AGAIN. JUST CUT IT OUT YOU TWO!
I would honestly watch Terminator 3 many times over again before i watched this horrific movie again.

I loved the first 3 "T" movies but this one is not worthy of my dvd collection…..can anyone say tranformers lol. There is not more than meets the eye here…

I dont know why everyone blame McG. Well i guess some of it is to blame cuz of him. After all they wanted Christian Bale in the film and thats what they got. Essentially Bale ruined the film. He didnt like the original script that was written and started making his own lines. Hell he wasnt even supposed to play John Connor from the get go. Bale wanted the John Connor role. The original script was pretty much based around Kyle Reese and Marcus Wright characters. Not John Connor. John Connor was suppose to die in the end and Marcus was going to take his face.
We can all thank Christian Bale for F'ing up Terminator Salvation and McG for letting him.

Did anyone double-click the .exe ?
It scanned okay with AVG Free, but I didn't want to take the chance.
Caused Firefox to close with an access violation. Best to avoid.
I was stupid enough to click it:( I turned of the computer as soon as a saw that it was an exe file i had clicked, now the system is acting funny and i have blocked all in my firewall… But i cant find the problem though:( Has someone found anything in the file??
It makes Charlie's Angels look like a classic in comparison.

When did everyone here on rlslog became Simon Cowell? This is pretty decent movie with a disappointing final act. This movie is way better then T3 and comparable to charlies angels or transformers.

I thought the movie wasn't very entertaining but that's my opinion. My biggest beef is with Hollywood in general. You do not and I repeat do not make any sequels that are under the original rating. I'm sorry if you want to appeal to a larger crowd but you will fail if you don't keep the same general idea going. This series or like the original in itself need action copious amounts of violence blood gore and more. Sprinkle in some sex with some tit shots maybe Arnold's wang like in the first and you should do fine.

:\ This movie was great. It could've been really really great. Christian Bale RUINED it. John Connor was about 3 minutes of screen time. Until Bale refused to take the Terminator role.
They last-minute wrote up 40 more minutes for him, let him survive the end of the movie, gave him action scenes that weren't his, and killed the arcs of Wright and Kyle Reese who were supposed to be the main stars of the movie.
Christian Bale KILLED Terminator.
Just look into it for 4 minutes on Google, it's not that hard.

I thought it was great, im not sure why so many people are bashing it so hard… probably because everyone had such high expectations and so did i. Was it as could as it could have been? no, but it was still a pretty decent solid movie
