Ten Inch Hero is an independent film completed in 2007. The film was directed by David Mackay and written by Betsy Morris.

Ten Inch Hero revolves around a group of friends working at a sandwich shop in Santa Cruz: Piper (Harnois), Jen (DuVall), Tish (Harris), and Priestly (Ackles). The shop is owned by aging hippie surfer Trucker (Doe), who is in love with Zo (Krige), the manager of the crystal shop across the street.

Piper, an accomplished artist, comes to town in search of the child she gave up for adoption. But she finds much more–and less–than she expected. Tish is a knockout–and a nymphomaniac. Early in life, she learned it’s a lot safer to use than to be used, to be Marilyn instead of Norma Jean. Fiercely loyal to her friends, she just can’t trust the world enough to risk falling in love. The irreverent and horny Priestly dispenses free-wheeling comic advice to everyone, but how long can he hide his own feelings? And what secrets is he hiding under that mohawk? Shy Jen watches life pass by, afraid to reach out, except through her e-mail romance with a mysterious stranger. Who could be a guy. Or a girl. Or Charles Manson with a laptop. Trucker, a surfer child of the 60s, knows about life. He owns the sub shop, after all. So why does he need his young staff to help him approach the love of his life?

    There was a full dvd rip of this 2 months ago which was a great copy, the menu was in foreign but it was a 4GB file and the quality was awesome…I found it on newtorrents back in novemember.

    This is a really good movie, it's a nice movie which is rare these days. If you are saying it's awful then you are a male with no heart. You can't not like this movie! It's nothing exciting but it's a nice story with great performances :) I get the title but it sounds like a porno.

    This movie is not good. Americans mostly think otherwise, but it's probably some kind of national lobotomy/nostalgia, because this movie is just terrible. Read imdb comments and believe the Europeans. (if you negate everything the Americans say there, you'll get a good picture too.)

    beware positive comments on this movie. the producers of it have enlisted a team of hypers to try and drive traffic towards it. it is a slightly less than average 3 am tv movie, not very well done. what irritates most about it is the level of hype spam that tricks you into believing its something it isn't.
    if you were an insomniac and it was on tv at 3 am in the morning you'd wach it, be mildly amuse and then forget all about it, it might even help you sleep.
    do NOT believe the hype.

    nice little movie – nice to see something not hollo0wood'ized. THe cast is great and the intarnal comedy and warmth between them is a pleasure to watch. It's however not as "tight" in terms of delivery or editing, but that i a minor thing. Very nice movie!
