Every rose has its thorns they say, how true. I once knew that French girl and she… okay, enough of that! NeDIVx released this by some ppl anticipated Horror / Comedy Movie “Teeth”. I just watched the trailer and I am not sure if I’ll watch it, or not. Not due to the quality, rather because I am not a Horror fan. Enjoy 
Synopsis: Writer-director Mitchell Lichtenstein’s feature debut is a horror comedy combining elements of atom-age 1950s horror films with mythology and feminist theory. The result is a smart, sassy B-movie satire–funny, gross, and with a high squirm factor. A risky idea that could well have turned into a lower-tier Troma production, TEETH is a unique and surprising creation. Dawn (Jess Weixler) lives the life of a normal suburban teenager, except for the two nuclear reactors looming over her house. A goody two-shoes by any measure, she leads the local chapter of a chastity group, lecturing younger children on saving themselves for marriage. She finds herself stirred in unexpected ways, however, by new member Tobey (Hale Appleman). Dawn lets herself get closer to him than she has to anyone else, but when he rapes her, she discovers—in the most grisly way—that she is a true incarnation of the vagina dentata myth.

My friend was going to be in this movie, but his mom refused to let him. I thought the plot was hilarious.

Nice double post Nyr. I’ve been looking forward to this movie, the trailer was pretty funny… The info Over gave was kinda vague. Anyway, the story is about a girl with something vicious living in her nether regions.

from imdb-I’m not going to lie. I laughed several times at this movie, but I assure you, none of it was out of genuine amusement. It was out of the sad expectancy that once again I went to the theater managing only to see another polished turd trying to sell itself as something original and slightly satirical. I can tell it was trying to make social commentary on things like sex, fears about sex, adolescence, crap like that. But honestly, in the end it was all for shock value. It was like “Okay, it’s another severed penis, we get the point.” Anyone out there cheering this movie on is either amazingly dumb, or severely overlooking the quality of the film itself.

as a filmmaker, a genre can give you the form into which you wrap the point you’re trying to make ;
and to say you’re not going to watch a film because some media-outlet puts a horror-label stygma on it, is just you being silly
Some of you guys are stupid. What 14 is saying is that all cinematic art is connected. Yes,that includes romantic comedies.If you deny yourself one genre you deny yourself the benefits of what the best of that genre offers. Variety is the spice of life.
If you want a great horror film to make you closeted freaks squirm I suggest INSIDE.

OK, so DL’ed it in about 90 mins… skipped through it… 3 severed u-know-whats… some blood spatter… and that’s it. Hard Candy (no, not Madonna’s latest) was 10 times more of a psycho-thriller. This stuff is just crushingly boring, like 99% of so called horror movies. But then maybe there’s something wrong with me!

This movie is amazing. I wouldn’t call it a a horror flick, more of a suspense/comedy/gore. Kinda along the same lines as Cabin Fever IMO, but way better. I was lucky enough to be living in Philadelphia and got to see this on the big screen a several months ago. (one of the few cities to actually play this movie I think, and on top of that, there was only 1 theater in all of the greater philly area that actually showed it).

The last Troma production out, ‘Poultrygeist’sh@ts on any other comedy horror types of films, including this! It’s far more amusing, gross, toilet humour, hilarious song and dance routines,the deliberatelly exagerrated bad acting to make fun of horror conventions etc. etc.
I have to thank the guys at Rlslog for drawing attention to that movie for without seeing it here and trying it out, I probably would have never come across it! Thanks!

Just watched it. What a great little film !
i think I shall show it to my 12 year old and 8 year old daughters and tell them that all women have teeth “down there” and that they fall out on their wedding night. So unless they want to be arrested for manslaughter or murder, do not use it till then.
