Yeah, sure. Just DL’ed it myself. This will confirm @9… there is a virus in the keygen – “Trojan horse Generic7.FSV” detected by AVG. So remember to say thank you to the good people from NoPE… or just say Nope to NoPE.

Thanks for the info, and I accept your comment. I have McAfee which virtually never reacts to keygens, that’s for sure. I also run (free) AVG which sometimes reacts to keygens and sometimes doesn’t. After a Google search on “Generic7″ it appears that AVG is constantly mentioned at the same time. So one would draw the conclusion that this is a weakness in AVG.

Apart from the annoying AVG popup which said that the file contained Obfustat.LUF, I get a Windows popup saying: Windows cannot access the specifed device, path, or file. You may not have the appropriate permissions to access the item, which is stupid because there’s only one account on my computer

Disable the Resident Shield temporarily while you open keygen, get the code then enable the Resident Shield again.
its not a keygen its a crack. Move the keygen into your Camstasia directory then, patch. It worked fine for me.

Any keygen or crack for any application will show up as a virus to most anti virus software.

In AVG shut down the resident shield for a while. It’s simple, just uncheck the checkbox. AVG is allergic to ZWT. I did it and just get the key.
Why is this labelled as “Winall” when it only works on XP and Vista?

handy tip… but what if a keygen needs a mac address?
if you don’t use bridge then vmware will create a different mac and ip for the virtual machine…
so the key won’t work in the real host… u need to run and install all cracked/keygens applications inside the virtual machine.
