Taxi 4 2007 720p Bluray x264 DTS-DEFiNiTE
The Taxi tetralogy I felt was a little under-rated and I liked the first three of these movies the most, this one was only so-so. The American movie called Taxi was a complete rip off of off these movies, and its funny as the director (or writer I’m not sure) mentions in the Making Of that he didn’t base it on the French series, but the whole taxi switching into a race car is their idea. Quality: This movie has your average runtime of 91 minutes so the quality on this is pretty good. DTS audio is included (as you may have guessed from the title) with a nice bitrate of 1509kbps, and 720p video with a bitrate of 5382kbps. The audio is in French but DEFiNiTE supplied us with English, Swedish, and Danish subtitles.
A Belgian criminal, wanted all over Europe for his crimes, is in the custody of the Police Department of Marseille to be watched for a few hours before transfer to a prison in Congo. Unfortunately Émilien (Frédéric Diefenthal) is tricked by the villain and convinced to let the prisoner go. After these events he’s fired but luckily for him his friend Daniel (Samy Naceri) helps him one more time telling him the location where the criminal is located, having been the taxi driver who drove him after he left the police station, not knowing he was a criminal. After this Émilien gets his old job back by telling the commissioner where to retrieve the criminal. He’s then captured and taken to jail.

Personally I only liked the first taxi movie.
I would prefer to read private thoughts about movies from the rlslog staff under the comments like the rest. The release will then be more “profesional” and the readers don’t get ammo to write sidetracked posts.

Juno is full of itself! Pretentious sub-par Kevin Smith writing , some very nice performances but nothing major. Infact as far as indies go Lars and the Real Girl was better… IN MY OPINION!

Ok the first movie Taxi was amazing, obviously good enough for Hollywood to adapt it anyway. Luc Besson (Leon, Subway, Fifth Element, Nikita…) was obviously trying harder back then. I wouldnt recommend the 2,3 or 4, especially if your not french because its packed full of french humour that great in its own way but doesnt convert too well. Seriously though, check out the first one… gold… pure gold

@Marceli - Any person who writes comments on movies should at least b able to set aside his personal taste and judge any movie he’s seen the same as possible.
