SYS released an HBO special aired last night called “Talking Funny”, featuring four successful comedians discussing their craft.

Comedy’s biggest names — Jerry Seinfeld, Chris Rock, Ricky Gervais, and Louis CK — sit down for a revealing (and hilarious) chat on this HBO special. The four stand-up legends get serious about comedy, discussing how they first got into the business, the merits of on-stage profanity, and the science behind getting a laugh.

    Yes, Gervais was the weakest. But only because he couldn’t stop laughing long enough to crack more jokes. Also he’s outnumbered, stick Stewart Lee in their with them and it would have been a different story.

    Don’t forget he is more of a comedy-performer and writer than a true purist stand-up comedian. His own stand-up shows involve a lot of acting out situations with body-language almost like a mime or something. I’m still loving it, everything he touches is funny.

    “Weakest” is sort of a pointless distinction though, when your talking about 4 of the world’s best comedians.

    I do agree that he did seem like he was genuinely nervous about the whole thing though, unlike the other three.

    gervais was totally out of his depth shooting the sheeet with 3 of the most respected stand-up comedians out there, when by his own admission, he only got into that field to earn his comedy “spurs”.

    it seemed to me that very little of what he had to say on this subject matter had the agreement of the other three, who are in a far better position to comment on what’s funny onstage than gervais is.

    Is it just me or does anyone keep getting an Error page when trying to download from Easy-Share?

    I have been downloading from Easy-Share for the past month or so without any problem. But it has been two days since April 22 until now, that I keep getting Error page right after I key in the captcha to download.

    Any ideas? Fellow Easy-Share downloaders or uploaders, Please help.
