And once we sell this tech to the rest of the planet, their oil will be about $3.95 a 50gal barrel as no one will need that much anymore. Then when their money dries up we can in turn sell them water at $150. a barrel or $4.00 American/8 Euros a litre and see how they like being gouged.

Ignorance Inc is absolutely right of course. Hate & anger between religious groups has been a part of human life since the year dot! If you read my previous posts – I have simply put forward my opinion on the topic of islam & the qur’an. I did not personally attack any other posters. Yet I was called a biggot, a racist, a Zionist, and atheist, an idiot, an iliterate, a lowlife, a liar and a douchebag (hope I didn’t miss any)
I don’t “hate” anyone – and I don’t like violence. Don’t get me wrong – I am no saint! But I have a free mind and I can read, and I can formulate my own opinions. (Yes I have read books – contrary to the chap that says I haven’t – and I rate the qur’an right up there with Enid Blyton’s “The Magic Faraway Tree”) The problem with most (and I say most advisedly) Islamists is that they have not read any other texts – they are forbidden to do so. How then can you you have an informed opinion??
Take this for example in someones previous post “..Islam is 1500 years old” Well so what??!! Catholisism came into being around 1020AD, Orthodox Christianity around 50AD, Judaism well and truly before that – and the Australian Aborigines had their own complex system of beliefs since before Adam was a boy!!! What makes Islam any more credible as a belief system above the Australian Aboriginal dreamtime belief?? The Aboriginal system has been around far far longer! What makes Judaism more credible than Buddhism???
All I am saying, in my opinion Islam has zero credibility. As a rational, thinking being – I cannot accept the teachings of a thief, a lustful man, a sinner by his own admission, a paedophile by his own admission (I speak of course of Muhammad (pbuh)). I don’t understand how anyone could seriously believe this to be holy man??? – and model their life around his teachings.
In all honesty – I couldn’t care less what anyone believes in, but it does sadden me that in these times I cannot get into a plane with my family for fear of some religious zealot blowing it up. It saddens me that I have always wanted to travel to Egypt to see the pyramids, but have to think twice because of the constant threat of danger to tourists. It saddens me that I cannot take my family for a holiday to Bali without the danger of being blown up in the street. (Yeah I know – there is also danger in crossing the road – but I’m trying to make a point!)

The quoted verses and stuff about the Prophet has been misquoted or downright twisted. Which language was it in and who translated it? You need to check your source before mouthing off mate.

Absolutely not – BUT – that is not what I said. What if a pedo was the actual founder of the religion/faith??? Would you still follow his teachings?? I think not! We are talking about a man who tells us it’s OK to penetrate a 9 year old girl, having done so himself! Then later he gets his adopted son to divorce his wife so he himself could marry her! (presumably because he had the “hots” for her!!) This is not a holy man folks – or am I missing something??
As a father – holding my new born baby daughter in my arms, how could I possibly accept the word of the qur’an telling me that this child is worthless because it was born a girl?? How could ANYONE believe that??
We accept too many things in this world without questioning – whereas we should be questioning EVERYTHING we see/hear/read. Otherwise we are all sheep – which is perhaps what our so called leaders (muftis, priests, rabii’s, politicians etc) want us to be – SHEEP!
