Talib Kweli – Ear Drum (2007)
This album release was released almost a week ago but i have been busy to post it so i’m posting it now. This is Talib Kewli’s third album “Ear Drum” which will drop tomorrow. He has already released two singles from the album called “Listen” and “Hot Thing” featuring Black Eyed Peas Will.I.Am. I have not listened to the whole album yet but i’m sure it would be a good album since it’s coming from Talib. If you want to listen to real hip hop then this is the album for you. Enjoy!
Ear Drum is the third and latest album from Hip-Hop artist Talib Kweli. It is set to be released on August 21, 2007 by his own record label Blacksmith Records. Warner Bros. Records will distribute the album. In June, an advance copy was leaked onto P2P sharing networks. The retail version of the album leaked on August 14.
The first single from the album was “Listen!!!” and was produced by Kwamé. The second single was “More_Or_Less” and produced by long-time Kweli collaborator Hi-Tek. Both deal with the current state of Hip-Hop. Each also has an accompanying music video. Other songs officially released from the album include: “Country Cousins” featuring UGK, “Say Something” featuring Jean Grae, and most recently “Hot Thing.” Both of the latter two tracks were produced by will.i.am of Black Eyed Peas Fame. In The Latest Issue of The Source magazine, Kweli confirmed a guest appearance from Justin Timberlake called “The Nature” which boasts production from Timbaland and Danjahandz. Among the tracks included in earlier incarnations of the LP were “Song For Dilla”.

ummmm lets just say this brother has a lot to say, I love real hip hop like this, see you can chill and enjoy the music, insted of thinking that your a fake thug, that time has came and gone, now is the time for what do you have to say in hip hop…. time to wake up your ears to what’s really comming out of these MC’s mouths, is it for personal gain, or about the money they can make off of you?
