Wooooo, finally something to play! Ive been waiting for this since Episode One was released over a month ago now. I was actually pretty hesitant when they first announced the release of the new Monkey Island games but i actually really enjoyed Episode One a lot more than i was expecting. It has the same style dialogue and humor as the original Monkey Island games which i loved so much. Definitely give these a go if you are into adventure games.

Update: Tales.of.Monkey.Island.Episode.102.The.Siege.of.Spinner.Cay.v1.0.0.18.READ.NFO-TE has been released and i have replaced the ALiAS release with the TE one. The ALiAS release was just NUKED for not being the full RETAIL release.

Telltale’s Tales of Monkey Island brings the adventures of pirate Guybrush Threepwood into a new era with an explosive storyline that becomes deeper and more entangled during the course of the five-episode saga. While battling his nemesis, the evil pirate LeChuck, Guybrush accidentally unleashes an insidious voodoo pox that threatens to transform the buccaneers of the Caribbean into unruly pirate monsters. Players will experience the humor, romance, and swashbuckling action the Monkey Island games are famous for and unravel an insidious plot which is revealed across the course of the series.

    @39 : the answer is no, mate!! hehehe.. you don't have to beat the 1st episode just to play the 2nd episode.. same as you, I just re-installed my OS.. I just tested the 2nd episode, and I can play it without trouble at all..

    didn't like the install package… the 1st episode had a single (and original) .exe install with a crack. This one has a weird installer… it looks a home-made install.

    @74 I agree. This game is just another botch job to cash in on a popular license.

    I am a huge fan of the Monkey Island series and loved the recent remake, but I'm so glad I've not paid for this game. I can excuse the ugliness of the game and even the recycled character models, but I got so bored playing it I turned it off and did some some housework.
