Tales From Earthsea 2006 DVDRip XviD-BeStDivX

Group BestDivx released a fine dvdrip of a 2006 Japanese fantasy adventure movie Tales from Earthsea, originally known as “Gedo senki”. This animated fairy tale based on quite a popular novel faces with things like dragons, princess and similar stuff. While majority of people consider it absolutely stunning, other describe Tales from Earthsea as a boring, slow and smooth story not worth any attention. The quality of this 2 CD release is perfect with a Japanese two channel AC3 audio.

Something bizarre has come over the land. The kingdom is deteriorating. People are beginning to act strange… What’s even more strange is that people are beginning to see dragons, which shouldn’t enter the world of humans. Due to all these bizarre events, Ged, a wandering wizard, is investigating the cause. During his journey, he meets Prince Arren, a young distraught teenage boy. While Arren may look like a shy young teen, he has a severe dark side, which grants him strength, hatred, ruthlessness and has no mercy, especially when it comes to protecting Teru. For the witch Kumo this is a perfect opportunity. She can use the boy’s “fears” against the very one who would help him,

LOVE Ghibli films. I heard this one was a bit of a let down, so I hope it’s worth a download.

.idx/.sub-files included in torrent. Just use the SubResync tool included in VobSub to translate to .set-files.

Seen all Ghibli´s and must say that Earthsea is boring, not even the graphics are to Ghibli standard.

Bytheway: there was a version online which had english Fansubs, but these were only for real fans. Seems that they´ve translated via GoOgle translator :o )

His son has realised the movie, not the master himself.

Shame they had to pick one of the weaker stories to do a movie on. The book where he was being hunted/hunting his mirror image or when he was trapped in the labyrinth would have been a bit more interesting.

I know this is off topic, but I was wondering if anybody has downloaded and installed this gamebox: 1500 free games program from the adds all over the site. I did a little search on it and it turns out it hides some root file or somthing like that in your system and it is very difficult to remove, not to mention find unless you do a lot of forum research. So why is this add kept on this site, waiting to fuck up some poor fools computer..or even have his identity stolen. I think it should be removed.

creezalird: I’m aware of that, actually I said on my second line of text that got truncated that I was unable to use or convert idx/sub files properly.

bob: Thank you but I’m only able to use VobSub on my system at the office, where I don’t plan on being until Thurdays. lol

Yeah yeah yeah whatever man ! you got the point.

the movie is not that bad for a first shoot, but that’s not the best ghibli for sure.
someone could upload the original sample ??

Studio Ghibli brings out great stuff, but this was a bit disappointing. The story is a bit of a yawn and the art is (for Ghibli) avarage at best. It’s still better than most of the anime-drivel.

Oh well, we all have our weak moments. And it’s great to see this kind of stuff being released. MORE!!!

is there a step by step laymans guide of how to insert subtitles and then burn it to a cd so that the subs will work on a stand alone dvd player?

Always stumped me this. Hoep someone can point me in the right direction.

    Cheers in advance.

I liked the movie. It’s a bit different in tone from other from Ghibli, but interesting nonetheless. The quality of the files is great.

    @ silvergellar:

I use the Film Machine for subbed DVDs. A step-by-step guide can be found here: http://members.home.nl/thefilmmachine/help/filmmachine_help_1_5.htm

This is a great movie, btw. bhuhyn’s comments are spot on.

    then add the sub file
    then burn

Not that I haven’t seen this movie yet, managed to get the Japanese DVD rip without subs so I am looking for one now… I am not that adept at Japanese yet.

Tbh, of all Ghibli movies, Howl’s Moving Castle was a huge let down. So we will see how this one will be like. So in any case, I am rather surprised hearing people complaining about this one when I didn’t like Howl’s Moving Castle much at all.
