Guys from VoMiT released a new dvd screener of action thriller Taken. This film set in Paris was filmed by French filmmakers, however, the audio is English and most of the actors are British or American. This release offers a decent quality, but there are hardsubbed Chinese subtitles on the image, which is little annoying. If you like movies filled by action scenes from the beginning to the end, this one is exactly for you.

An ex-soldier (Liam Neeson) traveling through Europe embarks on a frantic quest to rescue his daughter (Maggie Grace) after the young girl is abducted by slave traders in District B13 director Pierre Morel’s contemporary thriller Taken. Robert Mark Kamen joins the screenwriting team which also includes Morel and longtime collaborator Luc Besson, who also produces.

    Good one. Simple story line. A bit slow at first but necessary and once its rolling it rolls. Going to check other movies by the same producer / director.

    I’m not quite sure if anyone posted this before myself as I didn’t really search it out. However, to the commentator, this movie is not Chinese hardsubbed it is Korean hardsubbed. Yes, pretty darn useless information if you know not either Chinese or Korean. I realize this, I on the other hand have undertaken the relatively difficult and daunting task of learning Chinese, which by the way is the only way I was able to pick up on it. I also know a very very little Korean, hence me knowing it was Korean as a opposed to say, Cambodian or Tibetan or something. Congrats if you’ve read all this.
