Taken 2008 SUBBED DVDSCR XviD-VoMiT

Guys from VoMiT released a new dvd screener of action thriller Taken. This film set in Paris was filmed by French filmmakers, however, the audio is English and most of the actors are British or American. This release offers a decent quality, but there are hardsubbed Chinese subtitles on the image, which is little annoying. If you like movies filled by action scenes from the beginning to the end, this one is exactly for you.

An ex-soldier (Liam Neeson) traveling through Europe embarks on a frantic quest to rescue his daughter (Maggie Grace) after the young girl is abducted by slave traders in District B13 director Pierre Morel’s contemporary thriller Taken. Robert Mark Kamen joins the screenwriting team which also includes Morel and longtime collaborator Luc Besson, who also produces.

    @18 Yeah ur right,after I downloaded Ad-Block Plus all those annoying pop-up ads went away.The only bad side about the program is that eventually your gonna have to pay 20 bucks for it,well worth it though.Also I have another version of this movie without the subs,the audio is horrible though.Hopefully somebody will put the audio from this screener and the video from the other realese and make a great copy. 8D

    Very enjoyable film similar in style to the bourne series.
    Don’t let the part with albanian or french dialect worry you as you can easily follow what is going on and it makes no difference when watching it.

    @20 Adblock Plus is free as a Firefox extension, what the hell are you on about?

    @25 Um, Adblock does it all, no need for anything else if you know how to use it properly. Plus there’s other add-ons for Adblock that do other things.

    I just saw the trailer for this at the cinema today (saw X-Files, not so good :`-( ), looks killer. I’ll be seeing it at the cinema but will download a DVDrip when it’s available.

    The subtitles are Korean. There is no such thing as Cantonese subtitles – written Chinese is the same – Cantonese or Mandarin speakers use same characters. It is only spoken language that differs.

    BTW – I am not Chinese. Neither am I Korean. Just thought I might point that you should not be too sure – Asian might laugh at you.

    What, no VoMiT bashing from Martin? Is he ill, or just tired of making cheap shots? Weird…

    This is a very good movie. This release should improve VoMiTs (deserved) credit the same way their release of Persepolis did.

    VoMiT, giving us movies other groups don’t. That’s what they are about, not just releasing bad B-movies.

    I saw the trailer a while back in theaters, looked like a great movie, good cast too. And this is an early leak, so I would say no to any better quality. Remember, this film is set for a September release to theaters, and I don’t think it’s limited.

    Just searched all over for english subs, & nada, only Span & Port @www.moviesubtitles.org (the only site that had any…) Anyone have a link for them yet? Thanks for all the links BTW. After all the debate over which lang subs are hard-coded, I’m more interested in that than the movie itself at the moment :|

    @51 All you do is log onto ur rapid share account and once u have logged in ypu will see the bold lettersthat say PREMIUM-ZONE, under that there’s a plus sign that says Overview of the Accounnt…… Click the little + sign and u will see Traffic left: … that’s all u do.

    Notes:Peeps we got the last one out how we was given it,we apologise for that.

    I went for…
    Taken.2008.DVDSCR.XviD.ReEncoded- Cake.

    Fixed all the above issues (Picture, AR and FPS now all as they should be)
    Adjusted and increased colour (Originally it was a bit washed out)
    Slightly increased Brightness
    Normalised and re-encoded Audio also Increased Mid-Range a little.
    as the bass on it is pretty strong

    instructions on how to remove hard coded subs:
    1. buy a roll of gaffer tape
    2. cut off a piece roughly matching the width of your tv screen
    3. stick the tape on the bottom part of your screen.
    4. enjoy the movie

    I’m not quite sure if anyone posted this before myself as I didn’t really search it out. However, to the commentator, this movie is not Chinese hardsubbed it is Korean hardsubbed. Yes, pretty darn useless information if you know not either Chinese or Korean. I realize this, I on the other hand have undertaken the relatively difficult and daunting task of learning Chinese, which by the way is the only way I was able to pick up on it. I also know a very very little Korean, hence me knowing it was Korean as a opposed to say, Cambodian or Tibetan or something. Congrats if you’ve read all this.
