Here we have a very interesting bollywood movie which just got released by D3Si. Last release of D3Si was really bad, when they compressed a 2hr 30min movie in 1cd. In this case the NFO states that the source was pretty bad. But samples look very watchable.

Tahaan is an Indian drama film by Santosh Sivan. The film is based on the life of a young boy and his pet donkey. It is a fable-like journey of the eponymous eight-year-old boy, whose life revolves around the pursuit to find real purpose in his little world. The film stars Purav Bhandare as the young boy.

They all live in the hope that someday Tahaan’s father, who’s been missing for over three years, will return. The death of his grandfather leads the local moneylender Lalaji and his manager Kuka (Rahul Khanna) to take away the assets of the family, including their pet donkey Birbal, against repayment of a pending loan. Now, life for Tahaan, his mother and sister takes a turn towards rougher pastures.

    Well this gets my vote of confidence too.
    Watched it for MTV VJ Rahol Khanna, didn't expected it to be good based on my prev. experiences of Bolly, but it was rather great!

    Why's there an increase in Ethnic movie posts? It's bad enough trying to find what we want in prechans now release sites are being spammed with them… >:(

    How about someone sets up a new site for all the non-English stuff or a new section on existing sites with an option to filter them out.

    Gawd damn, it's like Apple news being spammed on Engadget.

    Finally,a great post of a good Indian film,after all those crappy ones by Droon.Thanks Vantec.
    Tahaan is a wonderful film by Santosh Sivan,acclaimed director of movies like The Terrorist,Before The Rains.
    Its nothing like the crappy bollywood movies with song n dance.Just 96 mins. runtime.
    Its more like Iranian cinema.Highly recommended!
