Plot: It‘s 1861, and the country is engulfed in political turmoil and civil unrest. where are the subtitles?
The subs are missing, because Ltu are idiots. Or the idiots who spread this release to the public forgot to include them.
There was no 2CD version of the subtitles, but there was several 1CD version. I downloaded it and split it using this great web site: http://submerge.delarue-berlin.de/

Rename the 2 .srt files with the exact same file names as the 2 .avi files and you won’t even have to manually load the subtitles in VLC.
Somehow the splitter site did not work for me in Firefox (probably because of NoScript) but it worked fine in IE.
