    Used to run the 2005 version of this back in 05 but lost access to that computer (moved out of home). Now I’m running TuneUp 08 and it’s just as good as 07 was.

    My question, is this work it? There’s nothing wrong with my computer as I and very strict with what goes on it. I’m not a n00b who clicks on ads or installs bloatware like Adobe products. Also, does this app take over your computer like Norton or AVG?

    In case you’re wondering, I’m using…
    Acronis TrueImage (Restoring should some software experiment goes wrong…)
    ESET NOD32 Antivirus (Lightweight security solution, that also works)
    Piriform CCleaner (Freeware but 100% crap free)
    Raxco PerfectDisk (SmartPlacement every now and then)
    Can anyone tell me if I could benefit from this software?

    tempting but last time I used it(previous version) It ended up fu**ng up my OS badly .Had to install my image. A little to intrusive for me. I use tune up utilities/ccleaner/kaspersky and all is good.

    I use System Mechanic 3.7g for many years… It works on all windows version.. without a hitch…
    I have the Industrial version.. It is better than the pro..

    Actually all versions were the same back then, it was only the key you entered, that would unlock other features… I’m not sure if it is still the same way today…
    But if you want to have a great registry cleaner/startup editor, with internet speed up features… Look for the old 3.7g version.. It works great…

    Here’s a comparison of several different utility programs. This one is ranked one of the best. Although I don’t see them all on the list. It works a little better than Tuneup Util.
