It’s getting better as they develop the characters. It would have been much better on HBO or Showtime.

It’s a little like Desperate Housewives, but without the comedy; a 70’s soap opera. Way too many commercials, though.

More boomer generation BS, is it any wonder the median age for network tv viewership is 50? The 60s/70s nostalgia is pathetic. Your old we and are not happy it, we get it. Your youth didn’t effect society as much as you pretend, get over yourself.

    Sincerely,

Just like No.3 said, the show shares similarities with desperate housewives with its main topic been about families and swinging set in the 70s(not really explicit at all which might be a good or bad thing for you :) ).
The producers did well to stick with the way video editing was done during that time and still managed to make it belong to the 21st century..

is it interesting?….i think so…just expect to have that old school acting and sterotypical views thrown everywhere

By the way, RS links anyone???

    @ #4

If you find it necessary to criticize those older than you, at least use proper wording. It’s “you’re,” a contraction for “you are.” Try paying attention in English class this September, snot-nosed punk.

Proof reading before hitting submit is obviously not my strong point dosguy. I miss the edit button that a lot of sites have.

Even so, that doesn’t change the fact that your generation has delusions of grandier that don’t mesh with the historical significence of your movements. You’re a generation stuck in the past hopelessly trying to recapture lost youth and a feeling of importance and/or purpose. The rest of society isn’t watching this trite nostalgic mental masterbation.

    @ #11

    You missed a few more:

    “Proof reading” = proofreading
    “significence” = significance
    “masterbation” = masturbation

Your literary ineptitude only betrays your youth and inexperience.

Unlike you, I didn’t need to rely on an edit button or a spell checker to recognize the errors. You see, I paid attention in school – something you might want to try next year.

By the way, since you dislike the show so much, there’s a wonderful new device available. Perhaps you may have heard of it. It’s called a remote.

LOL Hey Lobotamina – you should have come up with your own quotation – ‘cos this one isn’t saying the young are any wiser!

So get over yourself and your “generation”. It’s just media crap creating artificial generation “gaps” to feed our discontent – we’re all equal and will all grow old and die someday, so just suck it up and show a little humanity.

And you do have your own grand delusions you know – you actually think you *can* spell without a dictionary. Those ain’t typos so stop pretending.

Oh, and an on-topic comment? I’ve grown to love this show – I’m not nostalgic in the least since I was 5 years old back then and living in Australia.
