Svensson Svensson S03E05 SWEDiSH HDTV XviD-ST

I’m getting a little bored in the TV section lately this week, so I’m deciding to post some foreign language TV rips just for fun. Svensson, Svensson is a swedish comedy sitcom with a laughtrack. It was broadcast for one season of 12 episodes in 1994, and then another 12 episodes for season two in autumn of 1996. Due to the popularity of the series it was revived for a third season in 2007. The Svensson surname is the common lastname in sweden, similar to the ‘Smith’ of anglo-saxon countries. The series centres around the Svensson family who lives in the Vivalla suburb in Orebro. The TV group ST (swedish TV) has ripped the preceding 4 episodes of season three and they are available on usenet only, and maybe a foreign-language private torrent site. Edit: Now added 720p and HDTV torrent.

I rollerna: Allan Svensson, Suzanne Reuter, Gabriel Odenhammar.

Nope, never heard of it. I’ve always felt that Danish TV shows are of higher quality than Swedish ones, like that show about a female cop. Now what’s that called?

Anyways, Svensson Svensson is kind of OK for a swedis show at least and is the only Swedish sitcom airing right now.

The first and second was much better then the third, now it’s just boring from time to time in the episodes, when you watched the first and second season you could stop laughing for 10 seconds. never heard of the show klown and i don’t think i would understand much of it either.

Even if you do know swedish culture, Svensson Svensson isn’t funny anymore. Terrible directing and manuscript, this season.

haha… It’s nice to see Swedish realeses, even if Svensson Svensson sucks.. :D well I guess it is okay from time to time but the acting is just horrible. And overall it’s just bad.

I actually saw a rerun of this episode today on TV :)

If you gonna report on Swedish shows please report on the good ones! ;)

anakata is just one, think back to the beginnings of Razor1911, Fairlight … more people pushing C64, Amiga and PC demos, cracks and rips out of Sweden than almost any other country (except Denmark, Norway and Finland of course).

Even though Im not going to try out this show I really dont mind the occasional post like this on here.. Atleast all the comments were usefull.

Someone asked about “Forbrydelsen” Which is a pretty good thriller show currently running in denmark.
Recent episodes can be watched here:
    http://dr.dk/tv/
But it should really be watched from the beginning!

I would recommend other scandic guys to try out 1 episode of Klovn. It really is the best dansih “sitcom” ever. I dunno if the language barrier is too big afterall but the topics on that show is pretty funny. There should be torrents around for this…

    @YellowSnow:

Well that kinda depends on what accent the actors have, i spoke to two danes while i was in Frankfurt, one was from some place i don’t remember the name of and i could understand her pretty well(as long as she didn’t say any numbers in Danish, damn that’s confusing…), but the one from Copenhagen was almost *impossible* to understand, i could barely make out any words at all :) , and i talked to them for three weeks (we stayed at the same hotel) so i had some practice understanding Danish.

Praise Jesus if you don’t live in Swede cause the contents in this torrent is the best thing recorded on camera and shown on TV in over here. :C *tries to poke eye out again before chickening out*.

I don’t think you’ll find this show amusing if you’re not from sweden… it plays on swedish culture (the negative parts) and the joke is based on the swedes enclosed nature. However, I’m actually from the city of Orebro (called Örebro in swedish), and the suburb Vivalla actually exists :) Nice for Örebro to get some international feedback through Rlslog :P Cheers!
