Already, here is another episode of Survivors. Set in the present day, the drama series focuses on the world in the aftermath of a devastating virus which wipes out most of the world’s population. What would we do? How would any of us cope in a brave new world where all traditional 21st Century comforts – electricity, clean running water, advanced technology – have disappeared?
Abby and her new friends discover that supplies will not be shared equally in the new world, as they come face to face with a gang of armed thugs who have laid claim to the supermarkets in the area, leaving them short of food and water. Greg, meanwhile, meets a young woman with a tempting proposition for him, which would leave him with a comfortable new life, but would also mean turning his back on the others

Before anybody says how unoriginal it is or what show it’s ripping off… this is a remake of an original BBC show from the 70’s based on an even earlier book.

Maybe you were thinking of “Survivor”, that tropical island version of Big Brother…
Looks like a good remake of the original – with, hopefully, a more optimistic outlook than the doom & gloom of the 70’s version!

@19 And like nearly every show made in America is original, us Brits was making these sort of shows back in the early 60’s and 70’s, so therefore i would say Jericho is a rip off of something us brits made.
Plus Jericho was utter drivel Yank Sh*te with barely a story other than “whoo, nuclear bombs have gone off, lets argue”.
You shouldn’t come on saying stupid things like us brits are copying off you yanks cos we was here first with most of the ideas, in fact the only truly original show from US i can think of that doesn’t take ideas from our old shows is Ugly Betty

Shows OK, better than alot of crap on TV atm worth cheaking out if your looking for a survival horror without the horror. It could have been done better if they had made it more grim/dark and depreasing and had let us get used to/ become emotionaly attached to the chars before everone around them died. Also chars that did lose family in ep1 seemed pretty much *shrug* “Oh Well life gose on lol”, but there is only so much you can do with 6 eps
