Wooo, pretty huge release here, its the R5 release of the new Sci-Fi / Action film starring Bruce Willis called “Surrogates”. Ive really been looking forward to this film although the reviews for it have been fairly mixed. Quality wise the video looks pretty nice as usual with the standard R5 releases, as for the audio i cant comment too much on it yet because i havent grabbed the film yet and the sample provided doesnt really show anything of the audio, while saying that its meant to be CAM audio from comments i have read. (Ill make a new sample with some speaking scenes in it in about 20 mins :) )

Update: Ive made a new video sample from the movie and yeah the audio is pretty bad on it, in my opinion its best to wait a little while.. im sure someone will come up with something better. Sample can be downloaded here.

    I wonder about the sample. It’s a scene without any talk … as if the maker wanted to conceal the cam audio. But still, it’s easy to recognize that it was recorded with a mic.

    @ 96 – So true….I’ve been getting movie releases since the late 90s….I was with SmR movies, things have come a really long way since back then. This is no where near close to the worst audio I have heard. Not good by today’s standards, but I am sure there will be another release with better audio in the next day.

    I personally find the audio sounds alot better if you watch the movie wearing your girlfriend/wifes underwear…
    although i have watched it before while pumping my neighbours dog .. that made the audio seem like ac3 !!

    I saw this movie on the big screen and while it is a good SciFi I personaly only give it 5/10 rubber chickens.

    The story is.. meh.. ok average.. the second half of the movie was.. pfftt yawn..

    That’s my review.

    I paid for and went and watched this I will not be downloading it I will not be buying it. I wont even rent it again.
