Supreme Commander Forged Alliance-RELOADED

I know I don’t usually post games and this is my first. The release was there and it needed to be posted. So here it is.
RELOADED are back with the stand-alone expansion to the epic real-time strategy game Supreme Commander.

The game, set in the distant future, lets you command one of three human factions. There’s the United Earth Federation, which represents empire and order; the Cybran Nation, a cybernetic faction fighting for its freedom; and the Aeon Illuminate, an alien-inspired human faction that seeks galactic harmony through force. You can lead any faction to victory in Supreme Commander, but at the end of the game an alien race bursts upon the scene. That alien race is the subject of THQ and developer Gas Powered Games’ stand-alone expansion, titled Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance.

Features:

* New Faction
The new faction is the Seraphim, the alien race that the xenophobic human settlers had wiped out, and that had given rise to the Aeon. With help from QAI, they came back from another galaxy and intend to purge the galaxy. The Seraphim, being technologically superior than even the Aeon, have stronger units, but fewer of them than the other races.
* New units
Each faction receives ten new units, including one new experimental each. New units include the Cybran Brick, and Megalith - a new spider bot that is twice the size of the monkey lord. It is a mobile factory, and is amphibious, sporting 12 torpedo launchers and the large lasers as shown in the trailer. The Aeon receive a sniper bot, the “sprite striker”, and “Torrent”, a new missile ship. The UEF receive the “percival”, a new armoured assault bot, as well as the “Spearhead”, a mobile missile platform that fires 3 missiles simultaneously.
* Superior AI
The AI in Forged Alliance is far superior to the AI that was in Supreme Commander. If you’re new to Supreme Commander, playing against the easy AI is the best way to become accustomed to the basic game mechanics. The Easy AI will focus on building defenses rather than attacking, so you’ll be free to expand your area of operations and build up a massive army.

    Those specs are a lie…
    amd64 3400+, nvidia 6800 128mb, 1.5 gig ram, and the original barely ran at lowest settings, then with more units couldn’t almost at all (~1fps).
    Again with coreduo 1.8, 1gig ram, nvidia 7400+ 256mb, and barely with lowest settings, laggy as usits increase, almost playable with

    I wish system reqs could be more accurate. So glad I don’t buy before I try.

    I agree with blah29. This game really slaughters todays computers, especially if you want to have massive battles. I prefer playing Total Annihilation Spring, as it has okay graphics and doesn’t lag nearly as much (it’s also free to download and weighs in at 34 megs).

    It’s too bad because Supreme Commander is a fine game. If you really want to enjoy it the way it’s supposed to be enjoyed you need next years gaming rig, tbh.

    I’ll give this one a shot though. I have a new computer this time, a laptop with 2.2ghz dualcore. It might run it better than my old desktop w/ A64 3500+…

    today’s? how do you define “today”?

    today’s PC with a decent video card and enough and a good CPU can handle this game at medium settings easily. that kind of desktop computers cost no more than 1200 dollars.

    Supreme commander is built to take advantage of multiple CPU cores, hence multi core is strongly recommended

    Best game ever, im running off my laptop and i have absolutely no problem running this game at near max settings. If you cant run the game at all, your computer needs a new paint job, so to speak.

    Hey, I’m having trouble with the crack. I put it in the bin folder, overwriting the installed .exe, but when I double-click on the icon, nothing happens. Literally, nothing happens. Anyone able to help?

    I get an error with the cracked .exe that goes something along these lines:

    “The exeception unknown software exception (0xc0000409) occured in the application at location 0×00b7596f.”

    This occurs on the second attempt to run the forgedalliance.exe file included in the ISO. The first attempt is as described in posts above, no action occurs (though I do see my HDD lights go on for a bit, then nothing). I have copied the RELOADED .exe into the /bin/ directory of the game and renamed the previous exe to something else.

    I thought at first 0xc0000409 was something to do with .NET, but that doesn’t seem to be the case. Anyone else seen this? If so, any fixes or workarounds?

    Those who’ve had problems with the exe not working, try this from the THQ website- worked for me!

    - Some Logitech Web Camera drivers may prevent the game from launching. Either uninstall the Web Camera software or look for the file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Logitech\LVMVFM\LVPrcInj.dll and rename to file to LVPrcInj.noload before running Forged Alliance. The Web Cam software may not work correctly once you’ve renamed this file.

    please help me, i just dled and all i got was files with extensions like: R00, R01… and a couple of other files. no exe. There was a .nfo file. I am new to torrents, infact this was my first one. How do i play, please help! It took so long to dl. Thank yu so much!

    The .rar file, is the start of a compressed file that is split in to many pieces, you need winrar to open it, then just double click the .rar file (or the .r01 if you haven’t got a .rar and extract the files)

    BTW make sure you have daemon tools of something else to mount the disc images inside.

    i can’t get the no cd crack to work for some reason; when i replace the fixed .exe and executed the application, the program just froze there and will only continue (or at least the sound parts do) when I press Ctrl+Alt+Delete or when I minumize it. I tried searching for other cracks but it’s either they don’t work completely or they just gone into the same problem again and again……HELP!!!
