Super high me is a Documentary/Comedy type movie directed by Michael Blieden & produced by Alex Campbell. This is posted with a little delay because I had much work to do… When I read this movie’s name it reminded me on Super size me ( also a Documentary but about eating in McDonalds and health issues you get with it). This movie must be good its about WEED :mrgreen: ! Let’s roll this… relax and watch it… Super high me movie got a high score on IMDb but with little votes. On RT this movie has get very high score form RT community but an average score for the critics. I hope you will enjoy it. Download video sample for quality check…and don’t get to high 8)

PLOT: Super High Me features comedian Doug Benson and explores the current situation with medical marijuana in California and the United States, specifically focusing on the conflict between federal and state law and the explosive growth in medical marijuana dispensaries in Los Angeles over the past two years.
As part of his journey, Doug smokes, eats and vaporizes medical marijuana for thirty consecutive days in order to get “Super High.” But there is a catch–first Doug must go thirty days without any marijuana and undertakes a number of tests, completing the same tests while medicated and while sober, in an effort to find out what marijuana does and how it really affects people. Along the way, we follow Doug as he goes out on the road to stand up gigs across the country and hangs out with fellow comedians Sarah Silverman, Bob Odenkirk and Patton Oswalt.

    Even though I consider myself a weekend stoner, I hated this movie. This just perpetuates all the existing stereotypes and cliches about pot smoking and brings nothing new to the table. The filmmakers should be ashamed.

    this is the dumbest documentary ever created. i am a avid ganja smoker and i dont behave nothing like this, ever!!! this is a typical hollywood, cali docu, with pointless research. the only good thing was some of the jokes the douche was telling; other than that i would download a bottom 100 movie from imdb before wasting another 90mins on this

    Watched it a while ago and were bored to death..
    “Uhh, Mr. I smoke pot 30 days..” he doesn’t even do it right.

    Apart from his stupid standup jokes (can’t he talk about ANYTHING else than smoking pot) wich make 1/2 of the movie..

    Don’t get me wrong, I AM a smoker, but this movie sucks anyhow..
    So does the poster “This movie must be good its about WEED” - what are you, 14y ????

    i smoke 3 times a day everyday, havent missed a day of smokin in years so i watched it….not funny at all and not enlightening. it was pretty boring and he didnt do anything that would be fun while your high, goin to the doctor and the mall? come on man. his stand up is wack too.

    I do agree with the comment about CAMs.
    I think they’re a waste of space. They were ok, back in 2002, but know… mmmh.

    i thought it was an excellent movie. Ignoring his subpar standup, the real core of the movie was the fight in LA for the legalization of pot and how “dispensaries” are allowing the common person to get it with ease.

    It shows that the age old “legalize it” fight is starting in California and will likely spread over the time to the rest of the US. You will likely see less and less of the war on drugs including Pot and it will slowly but surely become another heavily taxed product on the market like beer/tobacco. Its just too bad it’ll take 50 years for it to be as widespread as to say Virginia or the midwest, where there are so many grassroots blind leading the blind fools running the government.

    Marijuana is not a terrible thing, its far better than drinking from a health standpoint, but like anything else, it should be taken in moderation. I would LOVE to be able to toke it up on weekends without having to worry about some archaic legality issue.

    Man, I actually thought this might be a nice informative documentary. Too bad it was biased beyond belief. They interviewed a ton of people, and not once did any one of them say anything against smoking pot. There were some who admitted that they never smoked pot and never will, but the camera immediately was cut away to someone else after they made such statements, whereas you have plenty of people rambling on and on about how its so great. You have this blitzkrieg of pot smokers coming at you one right after the other telling you that its the best thing that’s ever happened to them, but no one to take the opposing side.
    If you’re a pot smoker and you want to laugh, watch it.
    If you want an unbiased documentary on the subject, keep on looking..

    really? generally it incapacitates activists - while those who generally oppose authority may be more likely to try pot, those of them who continue to smoke it regularly are a lot more likely to become apathetic to activism, and generally steer clear of any sort of activity.

    obviously im generalising hugely, and weed doesnt particularly make you any less capable of anything much…

    but my point is that while lots of activists may be dope smokers, not all dope smokers are activists.
