CoWRY, a well known group who are known to bring us quality foreign movies mainly from Asia release a romantic movie. Su Mi Ma Sen Love is directed by Yu-Hsien Lin and stars Chie Tanaka. The movie is in Mandarin, so subs are included. This is a repack, the orginal release came out 8 hours before but there is no reason to why they released the repack.

Chie Tanaka comes to Taiwan to study Chinese but is unexpectedly cast as the leading actress in a movie. Wu Huai-chung wants to be a filmmaker but he can only find a part-time projectionist job. Chie runs away from her acting work in Taipei to a southern city Kaohsiung. As soon as she begins her one-day excursion, she finds her purse is lost. Huai-chung helps her by offering her five hundred Taiwan dollars. She refuses first. Huai-chung believes their encounter is pre-destined. But how can he convince Chie that their fates are really crossed? It will take his wits, humors and most importantly his heart to do the magic.

    Who chose that title?
    The movie is in Mandarin and the title may sound like Mandarin, too, but "sumimasen" is a Japanese phrase which is, in a nutshell, translated to "sorry to bother you" and other deeper meanings

    I haven't watched the film yet, but from the synopsis, the title might be sumimasen because the female protagonist is Japanese while the film is set in Taiwan.

    Both gioto and original subs are in chinese AND english. The language can be selected from the player menu. I\'ve converted the english subs to .srt format, to be playable in standalones. Just make sure the .avi and .srt files have the same name (name.avi, name.srt) and are in the same folder.
