Street Kings WORKPRINT XViD-mVs

Ok well you all know that RLSLOG has been down, but I’ve prepared a few posts so that I can run them once we’re back up, and since you’re reading this, we’re online. The workprint of this movie has been floating around P2P sites since late Sunday and now the guys from mVs brough us the scene release. This movie looks really good imo, but judging by what this workprint looks like, I’ll wait for something better.

Quality: Not too great as there are watermarks and timers all over the screen, but if you can live with that, then its all right. Its a 1CD which is something I’m just tired of as this movie is 108 minutes long, so mVs, wtf where you doing?

Tom Ludlow is a veteran LAPD cop who finds life difficult to navigate after the death of his wife. When evidence implicates him in the execution of a fellow officer, he is forced to go up against the cop culture he’s been a part of his entire career, ultimately leading him to question the loyalties of everyone around him.

I wish it was a dvdscreener :( The quality’s pretty good, but the video isn’t the best… Sound is great, though! Not that I’m complaining, I have the copy, can’t wait to watch it after REC! Thanks a lot RLSLOG! :D

Go see it at the movies, it has some pretty awesome makeup for the gunshot wounds that you will deffinately not see with a Workprint or even DVDScreener.

I saw it on cheap movie Tuesday, $7 for two hours of action filled entertainment with a not so shabby storyline is win in my opinion.

    Excellant movie.

The pictures not brilliant, but watchable, and you forget the timer and watermarks are there after a while.
I think i’ll rip the audio and slap it on top of the R5 when it out :)

    April 22nd, 2008 | 23:50

My man Common is a fine actor, and one of the very best hip hop dudes on the planet. But Keanu Reeves still sucks. He’s just NOT a believable tough guy. Looks like a good movie just the same. Anything with Forest Whitaker in it is likely to be worth watching.

Who cares if it is nuked as I said it has the best quality. I have downloaded three different versions of Street Kings and compared them in photoshop with Street.Kings.DVDSCR.x264-iAPULA being the best. It has the sharpest picture with the least amount of artifacts. The sound is just about equal on all versions but the picture is quite noticeable between the versions.

    “FILM (23.976 fps) = MINIMUM runtime is 105 minutes/CD
Runtime: 108min. rules are rules, 2cd not really justifiable….”

What a ridiculous argument. Who created these Rules and made them so special that they are to be blindly followed even then they are obviously getting out-of-date? “The Scene” of 10-20 years ago used to be a group of professionals who were always adaptive to changes. Now it’s just a bunch of high school kids that only seems to slow us all down…

By the way, making it a 2-cd release would not go against any rules (in case it needs explaining, 108 is somewhat larger than 105) and the significant increase in quality is justification enough.

so any DVDRip you see for 88 minutes is basically real…

LoL at comment on the quality, obviously you are a moron if you think they can just take these things out without leaving watermarks.

  62. FifthE1ement
    April 24th, 2008 | 02:22

I would love a version which has all of the normal watermarks but simply has the timecode blurred out. I think the watermarks go easily unnoticed for the most part but the timer is much too large to miss. The KingBen version crops a large portion of the bottom of the film and a little of the top which would be easily fixed by simply blurring out the timecode to fix it. If anyone will post a guide I will do it as I have the original DVDR and I’ll post the torrent. Overall the best quality is the original untouched (STREET KINGS DVDSCREENER ORIGINAL SOURCE UNTOUCHED) DVDR but it is a bit bright. The next best is Street.Kings.DVDSCR.x264-iAPULA which is darker and is a smaller filesize for those who care.
