Description: Street Fighter IV brings the legendary fighting series back to its roots by taking the beloved fighting moves and techniques of the original Street Fighter II, and infusing them with Capcomís latest advancements in next generation technology to create a truly extraordinary experience that will re-introduce the world to the time-honored art of virtual martial arts.

Everything that made the legendary Street Fighter II a hit in the arcades, living rooms and dormitories across the globe has been brought back in Street Fighter IV. Players will be able to play their favorite classic characters, such as Ryu, Ken, Chun-Li and Guile, along with new characters, including Crimson Viper, Abel, El Fuerte, and Rufus. Characters and environments are rendered in stylized 3D, while the game is played in the classic Street Fighter 2D perspective with additional 3D camera flourishes.     Question:

    Does the pc version come with the costumes that were DLC on the PS3 and 360 versions?

    They released costumes, like the one pictured of Cammy above, and charged for them but since the PC version came out much later id think they'd be free, also considering the fact that most pc add-ons are free unless they're like expansion packs or something.

    What downloader do you guys use for Hotfile? All the ones I tried just dl the HTML files themselves. I found on rDesc that downloaded files correctly, but it treated it like a free account with 15 min waits between files and had nowhere to put account info to use the premium account.

    alot of smart people will buy fighting sticks alot of people make them selfs actually. most noobs will buy control pads most already have them, but for you i say by a xbox 360 wireless receiver and xbox 360 controller coz it works flawlessly with these games for window, there made for it.

    I just realized that the installer quits while trying to install directX. I had to rerun the installer and by this time it continues the installation of the game files (as if the directX was installed properly before). When I later try to start the game game, I got error saying: unable to find directX module or something (this is possibly due to the unsuccessfull install) and the game doesn't even start.

    as for the live code, I have no problem there.

    Anyone experience same problem?

    can it store your profile offline (settings, game progress, etc.)? like fallout 3 or gears of war that store your profile locally when you cannot connect to the internet? I tried disconnecting from the internet and running it, but it doesn't give me an option to create local profile and I need to remap my keyboard settings every time I run it, not to mention that any unlocked characters disappear after restarting the game :\

    game runs perfect at max settings in fullscree mode at 60 fps, iam using xbox360 controller with only one problem, seth is kicking my ass on hard difficulty. iam hoping for a progress saving hack loike gears of war because u nee a original key to save. but its free :-) 9800 gtx + quad core cpu with 3gb ram :-)

    @198 Skizo & 187 duh:You obviously don't know how copy protections work. Securom contains anti-dump protections whose job is to make the crack run only on the cracker's computer. And the cracker's job is to make his crack run on any computer…yet reloaded sometimes fails at that.

    So if our computer doesn't have specific common points with rld's, the game crashs.

    i have installed this on 3 pc's now all running diff os' 1 on xp x64 one on vista x64 and one on 7 x64 all need the newest nvidia drivers downloading and installing which was released a week ago do that and it works fine i have mine running at 1080p c16xqaa 16xaf everything on highest poss setting done the ingame bench and still get an A and it tells me to up the graphic quality if needed lol ITS AT FULL lool average fps was 140 lmao my pc owns @$$ :P

    Weird… me not crashes on 2 systems: one is a p4 with xp sp3 and the other a dual core vista sp2. I'm a lucky guy.
    If u have problems, try to update directx using web installer, update your video card drivers and use the crackfix from the chinese site.

    Hey guys. just downloaded the game extracted then mounted.

    But when i run the installer MSI it cant find DATA1.cab and
    throws an ERROR 1311 Source file not found.

    DATA1.cab cannot be opened as well which i think it should as being an archive.

    I stopped my anti virus, then extracted the iso files.
    Then started the install, now I doesn't get the error 1311

    I have a crack that bypasses the regional settings check (so you don't have to set it to english when you want to play). Anyone interested?

    note:on my computer it still crashs at the black screen before the videos.

    I just bought the game – it's the simpliest way of getting past the crashs after all. So I got home quite happy, installed the game, ran it…CRASH!

    @284 help1:I know a bit about cracking, tried cracking alone in the dark 5 but failed (and then darkc0der cracked it). I'm a bit better at fixing reloaded's cracks and making trainers.

    At least now that I have a legit copy I'll able to use the patch when they release one that fixes incompatibilities with my system.

    try to install latest gfwlive version, to disable antivirus, firewall and other resident processes that can interfere with the game, even to upgrade to latest windows service pack. I remember gta4 had some problems with pre sp3 xp versions for example. if u use vista, try run the game with administrator privileges.

    @288 Myloch: I took the latest gfwlive from m$.com and disabled AV&firewall, I have the latest SP and I am the admin…and yet it still crashes, even the retail exe.

    Knowing that SF4_benchmark runs without problems, I wonder if it's not a bug in securom…not sure though.

    damn this game looks awesome. installed it and everything, no problems. but it doesn't work well. my computer fits the recommended system req (c2d 2ghz, 2gb, 512 mb video memory) not the minimum. but i had to run it in lowest resolution to get it to work properly. it's probably my graphics card that is to low budget, some ati model. i'm no gamer so i don't know anything about these things, but do i need to get a better graphics card?

    To use the Unlocker:
    Instruction:
    1. Run Street Fighter 4
    2. Go to the main menu but do not open arcade etc.
    3. Run Unlocker and click on unlocks!!
    4. Open arcade and you have everything unlocked!!

    alrite i partly fix the crashes prob, when the windows shows crash report, u jus pull the message board aside but u r actually able to cont to play the game.but now u r without live account, so this is another prob plus i cant find a button to save my progress, is there any save option available anyway?anyone can share?

    The xbox 360 directional pad is garbage for 2d fighters. Anybody with it online will be crushed by ppl with PS2 or PS3 pad. Prepare to loose.

    In my platform (XPSP3), I was having problem with the SFLauncher checking DVD, it was said my dvd is invalid, so I d/l the mini-image from gamecopyworld, and using latest d-tools + YASU, then i can play this game without any crack! Great game! It is still running around 40-60fps for aging machines like ati x1950pro + c2d e6600…
