Street customs is a shop sort of like West Coast Customs Choppers except with cars. The builds range in scope from customizing modern styled street rods to chopping up $100,000 luxury vehicles. Ryan teams up with custom wheel design company Asanti to create a Mercedes masterpiece for a carshow. Then snoopdog drops in for a special request. Later on they work on a new Cadillac for Shaquille O’Neal. The rip is in WS and the quality looks like normal DSR.

West Coast Customs reconnects with the client that put them on the map – basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal. Ryan has built many cars for Shaq in the past, and now it’s time to take it to the next level to win back Shaq’s business. Ryan and his crew come up with an idea for a super-customized Cadillac DTS appropriately named “The Shaquillac.” Also, to honor the West Coast Customs fans around the world, Ryan hold’s a “No. 1 Fan” contest. The winner receives the full West Coast Customs treatment to their car.

    they don’t have the proper plot outline on tv rage and the suck-ass site tlc doest show it either so yeah we all suffer.

    it’s alot like pimp my ride (some of the original cast members are the same) but the cars aren’t nearly as cheesy as they used to be

    This show is done by the same company that did the original pimp my ride, West Coast Customs. Only they are fixing up rides for customers, not for free.

    Hip is right. WCC left PMR cause they were tired of doing those overly cheesy cars and being labeled as those Pimp guys when they do much more than that. I’m actually surprised at how big the shop has gotten. It’s pretty impressive.

    As a series Street Customs is more “Unique Whips” meets American Hot Rod/American Chopper than it is “Pimp my Ride.”
