Stop Loss CAM XviD-PreVail

Films about Iraq are all the rave lately and here’s another one, brought to you by the current leader in CAM and TS quality releases. This looks like a worthwhile movie to wait for in better quality, but I know some of you are fine with this kind of quality. In my opinion, the video is sub-par and the 110k bitrate VBR MP3 audio sounds crap.

Synopsis: STOP-LOSS Policy – The retention of soldiers in the service beyond their expected term. Using a loophole in soldiers’ military contracts to prohibit servicemen and women from retiring once their required term of service is complete. Also widely known as a “Back Door Draft.” “Stop-Loss,” director Kimberly Peirce’s first film since the Academy Award®-winning “Boys Don’t Cry,” is a topical and emotionally penetrating drama examining a government policy that has affected the lives of more than 80,000 of America’s brave men and women in uniform. The enforcement of the Stop-Loss policy makes each of them walk the fine line between doing their duty and doing what’s right. Sgt. Brandon King (Ryan Phillippe) fought for America. He fought for freedom. He fought for his family. He gave everything and then he came home to begin his life anew. But now they want more. They want him back.

    this movie looked like something i don’t want to watch. i’m not exactly sure why either. maybe it’s all these movie with the anti-war hippy theme. i don’t know. maybe it’s the cast. i don’t know. but after i watched home of the brave i almost commited suicide. remember kids 99.9% of people who go to war come back messed up in the head. i highly doubt that this can be worse than home of the brave. omg that movie sucked hard

    Just another lame liberal Hollywood hit job on the US military. When will these anti-war idiots realize we don’t care to see their left wing propaganda movies. They should take the money they waste producing this crap and feed some starving kids in Africa.

    remember kids, 99.9% of those us citizens who go to war had chosen that path for themselves. no draft in the us. those people “want to kick some ass”

    And when their elected guy send them to war, they are up for a surprise.

    This movie isn’t about who’s for or against the war, it’s about the bs some of the soldiers have to deal with.

    why is it you dont get any mention of british soldiers and only bloody american soldiers ?

    im not being against americans here but this is all you see when you get movies like this

    “a government policy that has affected the lives of more than 80,000 of America’s brave men and women in uniform”

    ITS NOT JUST AMERICAN BRAVE MEN AND WOMEN OUT THERE YA KNOW !!!!

    April 8th, 2008 | 03:57

    @25 — Because this movie addresses a specific issue that doesn’t affect British soldiers, only American ones. And I’ve seen several movies in the past year that are about the British troops. Lighten up, no one said the British are any less brave.

    @17 — Force. F-O-R-C-E. Not forse.

    The spelling is weak with this one. :P

    @14 — Please eat sh1t and die, right-wing scum.

    @13 — N00B ALERT! N00B ALERT! Hey sunshine, before ranting about pop-ups and ads, learn some basic net skills. I’m assuming you’re using IE. Get Firefox, add the NoScript and AdBlocker Plus plug-ins, learn how to configure and use them correctly, and you’ll rarely see an ad ever again. I have to laugh everytime someone complains about all the ads and pop-ups on Rlslog because my first thought is “What ads?”.

    This movie left me feeling vaguely uneasy for some reason. It was like some 30something at MTV read some disaffected soldiers blog, then made a movie based off of it. I don’t agree 100% with the Iraq Conflict, but I also don’t think everybody coming back from over there is crazy or suffering a nervous break down. There was a seed of truth in every topic the movie addressed, but it also failed to address that the Army is a completely volunteer force and that the possibility of a Stop-Loss is in your initial contract.

    @25,

    because hollywood counterfeit history in every movie they make. remember the u-boat film 10 yrs ago, when americans found and broke the enigma? and there was a nice fine print at the very end that in reality, the British did this act. :D

    Man, PreVail took CAMERA’s place as the king of Cam’s. I remember when they first entered the scene. What was their first release? it was around the time of the “n00x” era wasn’t it? :P
