Its sound theories, not stories
Jesus. Who the fuck listens to this shit??????
A little quality control on the releases/posts would be nice.
nick: i listen to this shit so how about you shut the fuck up. just because you don’t appreciate good music and probably care only about the latest cd by Clay Aiken and are on tmz.com obsessing about paris hilton doesn’t mean the world has to revolve and post stories that are only relavent to you. so close your mouth, take your head out of your ass and realize there is a world outside the little bubble you live in.
@nick
Well, tell us what YOU listen to..
I’m curious at to what type of quality we should expect, if you were posting here.
Holy Shit finally some music I have to have on this site. Thank you.
saw his concert on dutch tv, it was really good, maybe even for people who don’t play guitar, like nick who’s a sweaty fatso living in his mom’s basement
Yeah fuck you Nick! AJ – thank you so much man can’t wait to do some air fret-wanking…
Nick probably listens to rap music like 50 cent and 2pac. lol
Never heard of this guy but looks like somthinga bit different to download! I like blues guitar and post rock normally… can I expect to like this?
Yes, definitely.
Vai (where does the “Siro” come from, btw?) started out playing for Frank Zappa and then went on to record his own solo albums,
among them ‘Passion and Warfare’.
He has been filling in on Whitesnake’s ‘Slip of the Tounge’ and some of David Lee Roth’s early solo work.
Nick, you’re killing me.
thanx for posting about Vai! Great guitarist!
btw: one should never blame an ignorant for being an ignorant, but try to educate him. So Nick, i strongly recommand u listen to this musician, after get into highschool, that is…
Is this album any good? I think the only work I like from this guy is the guitar music in the movie Crossroads. I listened to his other stuff and its not very good, oh he plays great but the music sounds like crap.
OMG WTF etc Steve Vai is one of the greatest guitar players ever. Some comments make me laugh. Probably u listen to some pop shit and say that they are the greatest.
Did you have to post the pic where he looks like an uber-douche?
lol
crossroads.. isnt that a horrible movie wiuth like britney spears or something??? saw it in the store..
Ha! Conclusion: Nick sucks dick. What an idiot.
Steve Vai is a legend. Simply a master at his art. I think i’ll have to buy this one out of pure appreciation for the guy. Saw him live once – amazing show. AMAZING!
Oh and his bit in crossroads [not britney spears film] is pure amazing.
@WingAttackGroupExIII: He is relatively hard to just get into, but if you like crossroads stuff I’d start with Joe Satriani’s “Surfing with the Alien” and then move onto Vai’s “Passion And Warfare”.
Steve Vai was in the 1986 movie the crossroads where he played the devils righthand man. The movie also stared Ralph Macchio from Karate Kid fame. Loosely based on the life of the greatest blues guitarist Robert Johnson. Check this out for the guitar genius that is Stevie Vai. This is the end guitar solo of the movie. http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=2532824540210704919
(by the way Stevie is the long haired guy and played both solo parts)
i think this album is a bit “experimental” and i like it.. vai is surely a legend !
and crossroads, hehe it is a nice movie and it is interesting to observe how Ralph Macchio was trying to imitate finger movements on guitar. sometimes funny though
even Steve Vai’s fingers dont sync sometimes
heeeeey you Nicky nicky DICK!! go and listen to your fuckin rap & shit cds, cause this is MUSIC THEORY not your kinda fuckin music
jaja nicky is gay.
the version of liberty is amazing very good cd
I’m sick of seeing this guy, his banner is on every music site I go on, and even has a half a page spread on some rock magazines. grrrrr.
What happened to AJ doing 1 music post per day?
Haha nick = bumlord.
I can’t get into vai but i’ll check this cd out anyways! I prefer abit of malmsteen or eric johnson but i think most people hate malmsteen cos he loves himself so muc hahaha.
regardless. Vai is amazing.
Nick !!! A wanker for sure !!! LOL
He who says “Steve Vai” is SHIT needs his balls reattached…and a spoon to eat off his own ass !!! Go listen to some britney whore spears !!!
Steve Vai is my idol and this particular cd’s although a lil different but is definitely a masterpiece and a must have…
Nick is not familiar to this kind of music. But he can’t comment like that.
Steve vai is a great musician Nick. And you better try not to listen this type of music. It’s not for people like you.
Steve’s full name is Steven Siro Vai.He called Zappa oneday and played something through phone and Zappa was amazed. He employed steve to write his music scores.Steve’s song “FRANK” is dedicated to Zappa.
In the early ages oneday he was able to play one of his favorite Jimmy Page lick and he thought I don’t mind if I die tomorrow. This lick was also used in his song “JIBOOM”
The guitar used by steve is of his own design. It is Called Ibanez Jem.
Steve vai has done some courses on meditation, probably indian kind
He cultures bee and the profit he earns from that is used to maintain a profitless musical foundation(not quite sure)
I met Steve and allready own this so people if you like it BUY it suppport the good musicans
