A slightly late info about this dvd screener, but I guess it’s better than skipping it totally. Step Up 2 The Streets is quite a popular musical drama, which is only about modern dancing. There’s a slightly romantic plot line, but the reason why you want to watch is most likely the amazing dance moves. There are two blurred timestamps at this dvd screener, one at the top and the second at the bottom, but it’s not intruding and overally very watchable.

The follow-up to the smash hit “Step Up,” which ignited theaters in August 2006. When rebellious street dancer Andie (Briana Evigan) lands at the elite Maryland School of the Arts, she finds herself fighting to fit in while also trying to hold onto her old life. When she joins forces with the school’s hottest dancer Chase (Robert Hoffman) to form a crew of classmate outcasts to compete in Baltimore’s underground dance battle The Streets, she ultimately finds a way to live her dream while building a bridge between her two separate worlds.

    step up homies, ross the snitch reviews step up 2 the streets, the first in this series was the citizen kane of these shuck and jive boogie get down movies but if like me, you are a white boy hanging out in a cave in afghanistan rubbing your bald head, then you couldn’t understand a word of it, but don’t worry homies, these hep cats act with their feet, which is good cause everyhing from the ankles up is without talent.
    i recommend step 2 the crack den if you enjoyed the first one so spark up a blunt, open a forty and show your friends how cool you are by stopping the movie half way and breaking out some of your own sick moves, peace out !!!

    Thx for this post, have been waiting for step up 2.

    Being a dancer i watch this movie mostly because of the dancing.
    So those who say that ths movie is a trainwreck… it’s half true.
    About 95% of all dance movies have good dancers but when it comes to acting…really bad.

    I don’t even like the music their playing in the movie, most hiphop after the year 2000 is just boring to me and going in the wrong direction. Thats my personal opinion adleast.

    And then also, real dancing and these movies their making, not the same thing. This is pure hollywood version of things. Right about now i just get so pissed when my student ask me this and that from step up 2 or people compare my hard work for years to a movie like you got served.

    Nr. 5. You should try out some MTV dance courses and then hit the clubs, then you’ll relize that there is nothing queer about dancing.

    This was watchable in my opinion. Video and audio are in sync. The blurred areas might be a little annoying at first, but after a while you’ll get used to it.
