Here’s COALiTiON with a Telecine for Step Brothers. The Quality is just great, video and sound. I’ve added the video sample. Btw thank you for voting on my polls( 1 & 2 )

Will Ferrell and John C. Reilly, who last teamed in the box-office smash “Talladega Nights: The Ballad of Ricky Bobby,” now star in “Step Brothers,” directed by Adam McKay (”Talladega Nights”). In “Step Brothers,” Ferrell plays Brennan Huff, a sporadically employed thirty-nine-year-old who lives with his mother, Nancy (Mary Steenburgen). Reilly plays Dale Doback, a terminally unemployed forty-year-old who lives with his father, Robert (Richard Jenkins). When Robert and Nancy marry and move in together, Brennan and Dale are forced to live with each other as step brothers. As their narcissism and downright aggressive laziness threaten to tear the family apart, these two middle-aged, immature, overgrown boys will orchestrate an insane, elaborate plan to bring their parents back together. To pull it off, they must form an unlikely bond that maybe, just maybe, will finally get them out of the house.

    quality of this (the screener) is very watchable (if you’re into the comedy and not the studying of the picture resolution.) and i have to say its their best film since anchorman.

    I’m positive they aren’t confusing it with the FS Neptune SCR, perhaps another DVDSCR that popped up.

    Either way, quality is nice, that isn’t what the nuke is for. Best version out.

    I’m not a basher, far from it, but come on. If you’re going to post a release at least bother to use the search feature on the site before embarrassing yourself posting something that’s already been posted before. Especially if a screener or dvdrip is out why even bother posting a tc?

    I’ll take a good TC over a SCR any day of the week. First, SCRs are almost always FS, and second they are usually ripped from hotel rooms and have extremely low resolution. Action film really can’t even be watched in SCR quality.

    Download both the NEPTUNE SCR and COALITION’s TC/DVDSCR (whatever the hell it is) and tell me which one looks better.

    This is just about the worst movie I have seen in a while. I kept expecting it to get better with these two actors but was sorely disappointed, I’ll never get the 2 hours back that I wasted on this.

    TELECINE (TC)
    A telecine machine copies the film digitally from the reels. Sound and picture should be very good, but due to the equipment involved and cost telecines are fairly uncommon. Generally the film will be in correct aspect ratio, although 4:3 telecines have existed.

    So often TC’s tend to look like DVDscr/rip or R5’s….So this is alot better quality than the VHS Screener dont get it confused with a TS

    @dot, Devise’s rip is 2 cd release, over double the video bitrate, and nearly double the audio bitrate, so no it is NOT exactly the same.
