Comments on: Steinberg WaveLab v6.1-AiRISO

Can anybody please tell me how to install this or get this working. I check around on other sites and it says to unrar and then mount or burn but when I extract isnt it suppose to turn into an iso.Also am I suppose to download wavelab first or what.Someone please give me detailed instructions including any programs and processes i might need.It will be greatly appreciated.

I know this is a little late..I just got round to installing this myself and got the same error message you posted about..and I’m running XP Pro SP2..it just doesn’t seem to work and I followed the steps EXACTLY!

Judging by the fact nob ody got back to you on this when you posted it looks like we will have to give this one a miss..

Compare it to Cubase , Logic , Pro Tools………

You obviousily know very little about audio editing.

Wavelab is accurite , fast and does everything flawlessly.
You can easily fix things like “clicks & pops”.

The ui is perfect , for what it is NEEDED for. ( visually finding and repairing audio glitches)
The spectrum tools are very very accurite.

Adobe Audition is the gimmicky tool with useless features that professionals don’t need.
Adobe add all sorts of $hit to most of the programs they bought.

WHAT SIZE IS Adobe Audition ? ? ? Bloatware…

The EMU file gets a error when you try to install the dongle. Has anyone figured out how to fix this? It happened on Vista and Windows 7.

@Prizm: the difference being, Audition routinely goes down like a two-dollar whore and frequently takes the system with it, when it’s not introducing glitches into your music. Wavelab doesn’t do those things, it just works.

Get the Soundforge 10 and get the job done… Steinberg is good at making DAW programs but sample editing is just out of their league.

Wavelab: it’s been years since version 6 was released, and now they release 6.1? It looks like they’ve hardly made any changes to it. The interface still looks like it belongs on Windows 95.

I tried Wavelab 6 and it couldn’t perform some basic functions that even Adobe Audition has had for years. “Professional”, my ass.
