PUKKA is back with what appears to be a very good Drama film. Samples and quality update will follow.

Update: Unfortunately, there are black & white scenes along with property messages here. Quality of video is excellent, however. See added samples.

Synopsis: Though he’s spent most of his career as a character actor in supporting roles, Frank Langella gives the lead performance of a lifetime in STARTING OUT IN THE EVENING, based on the novel by Brian Morton. Flanked by Lili Taylor and Lauren Ambrose, Langella is the central piece in a film that focuses on its characters. The film begins with aging writer Leonard Schiller (Langella, SUPERMAN RETURNS), a man who feels as obsolete as the typewriter he is pounding away at. Though he has four novels to his credit, he has been working on his fifth for a decade. Enter Heather Wolfe (Ambrose, SIX FEET UNDER), a grad student who plans to write her thesis on Schiller’s work.

    Thanks for the quick response… You’ve made DLing movies really convenient for me over the last 6 months or so… like your blogspot page & thanks also for the fullurl.exe program to bypass the plugin garbage on friendlyfiles/bitroad etc

    if there’s anyone out there with the experience / language skills to modify fullurl to english, that’d be great (not sure which language it’s in)

    What sort of an exe file is the ‘FullURL.exe’ (644 KByte)?

    What is its use? What else does it do on my system?

    How can I know that it does not install some BACKDOOR, that it does not download some SPAMBOT or KEYLOGGER or any other MALWARE?

    Has anybody with some awareness in relation to security TRIED this app? And checked his/her system with e.g. ROOTKIT REVEALER or BLACKLIGHT?

    Thank you in advance for any substantial information!

    @23 I’ve scanned it and no viruses, it is a prog. for getting the D/L link in friendlyfiles and btload (so you don’t have to intall their software). Works good just go to settigs and switch the default lang. to english.

    Thanks for the info. If that works AND if it is not malware, then I send out thanks to Tito. I haven’t used friendlyfiles so far because I don’t feel like installing their donwload*ware AND using Virusgate aka MSIE.

    I’ll ask a few search machines on the net for the origin and workings of fullurl.exe
