*SPOILER ALERT*:
McKay begins to lose his memory after contracting the Pegasus version of Alzheimer’s called “Second Childhood”
En route to check on a missing research team, Lt. Col. Sheppard, Dr. McKay, Teyla and Ronon emerge from the stargate to find themselves swimming atop a flooded valley. With only the apex of the gate accessible above the waterline they cling to it, soaked and bitterly cold, until a puddle jumper can make it through to rescue them.
But during the flight back to Atlantis, McKay inexplicably falls ill and in the days that follow, his condition declines further. Dr. Keller discovers a parasitic organism in his brain that cannot be removed. As a result, his ability to function continues to deteriorate to the point where he has virtually no recollection of who he is or what he is capable of. Soon, his emotions and memories have regressed to those of a young boy and, fearing that he will not pull through, the doctor summons Jeannie, McKay’s sister, to say her final goodbyes.
This episode was good.
That was disgustingly fast. Good indeed.

Hi, Yep good episode, saw it Saturday. It is a shame that its the last season of Stargate Atlantis. But we have got “Stargate Universe” going out in 2009. The show is a cross between Stargate and Star Trek: Voyager!!!!

Hopefully they’ll have McKay on the new series he’s the best character from either of the shows.
Another p.o.s. episode. The series started out great but the writers lost their way and honestly don’t understand at this point what a Stargate tv series should be like.
5/5 episodes of this season have already been 1 hour bores where for the entire 60 minutes Shepard’s team or an individual from said team are trapped or dying and need to be saved in 1 room.
The name of the series is Stargate so use the damn thing and explore other worlds. I’m glad this is being cancelled. Just download or buy Stargaet SG-1 on DVD if you really want to enjoy the series. Once you revisit it you wouldn’t dare say crap like this is good.

whoever said this wasnt good is heartless, i actually got teary eyed a couple times during this episode, the end was kinda predictable but the journey was heartfelt

This episode was good.Why people are complaining?
But i can’t believe this is the last season,i think Stargate Universe will be a good replacement since SG-1 is over with SGA.I’m waiting for the pilot to air summer 2009.
