Don’t forget, use Peer Guardian 2, it allows you to block IP addresses, so your P2P applications don’t send/upload/communicate with MPAA, RIAA, by denying their IP addresses.

Unfortunately, this isn’t a complete cure, as you got to know all the bad IP addresses to block, but some is better than nothing, right?

Just a reminder folks, MPAA is on purpose releasing fake Stargate Atlantis S04E03 torrents. It’s so obvious, because no torrents released then 5 appear all at the same time, with large seeds (hundreds) and thousands of peers, but ZERO downloads…

In addition, these fake torrents going around, don’t give you the real video, but an advertisement telling you to go download some fake codec to watch the video. These codec are Trojans and malware, as here at the scene we know, but in the interest of newbies, please don’t fall for this crap from the MPAA!

If that wasn’t bad enough, MPAA also post on these torrent websites, fake comments.

One method to fight back is to post comments, as we can out number their efforts, and we can post hash checksum values, like MD5, which only helps once we download the torrent to prove it’s a good one.

Someone can post MD5 hash checksum values for any torrent to be approved by the majority of torrent users.

Another thing one can do, is download the first part of the torrent, and play this back in VLC media player to check before having to download the whole video.

Let’s cooperate here, as it’s our culture, our society right?
