It went downhill at the end of season 4 and 5 started regrettably week. As for the actors, at the end of season 4 I had hopes they would finally get rid of that Rachel Luttrell aka Teyla. What she does on screen is horrible. They should decrease her screentime massively. As for the writing, stories and characters have become way too winy. And the character of Rodney McKay as hypochondriac ('i think it infected, I got sweaty hand :( ') hasn't been funny in a while... I hope the ppl in charge of atlantis will take some time to reflect on what is happening and then will make some taff decisions. And one day if I atlantis is still on I stumple upon an episode, I hope I'll find it has reemerged... They lost me as a viewer.
