Stardust R5 LINE XViD-mVs
And here is group mVs again. And again with a R5 Line release. This time it’s the fantasy movie Stardust. Audio isn’t that good at all, but the picture is pretty nice. An IMDb Top 250 movie and starring De Niro! I’m yet to see the movie, but I think De Niro plays a role like what he did in Brazil. For more info about previous releases please look here.
A young man named Tristan (Charlie Cox) tries to win the heart of Victoria (Sienna Miller), the beautiful but cold object of his desire, by going on a quest to retrieve a fallen star. His journey takes him to a mysterious and forbidden land beyond the walls of his village. On his odyssey, Tristan finds the star, which has transformed into a striking girl named Yvaine (Claire Danes). However, Tristan is not the only one seeking the star. Lord Stormhold’s (Peter O’Toole) three living sons not to mention the ghosts of their four dead brothers all need the star as they vie for the throne. i agree by the look of the sample that this is not R5. MVS released a TC of this movie a while back. maybe this is some sort of duplicate/re-encode of the “TC” released by this group.

A lot of you guys are looking at the wrong samples.
Correct sample: mvs-sd-sample.avi (20.9 MB)
Incorrect sample: mvs-star-sample.avi (~11 MB)
That’s just for clarification.
Release date of the DVD is Nov. 6 and only an R5 (and not a good one)? I’m fairly disappointed
dumpydooby is right, i’ve just compared the correct sample from usenet to the old tc at the same point in the movie, and it’s a significant improvement. (picture wise)

i really appriciate how this is labeled R5, i download overnight to wake up seeing a very poor quality release which i have seen cams that look better than this

It is a really bad quality release and not a R5, it is the exact same TC that i downloaded a couple of weeks ago.
Very dissapointed to see this posted here. You should first check what you post, i used to depend on reviews from rlslog,
but i dont think so anymore, i keep seeing useless posts, about lame games, lame shows etc etc.
And now this, well, i’m done with rlslog.

but overall just too darn dark
if ur gonna encode a movie notch the brightness up a wee bit to compensate for the loss in encoding
you just miss to much of the spectacle when its this dark
i will pass on watching this till someone does a copy worthy of the movie
