When I tried to install it i followed all the instructions yet when i go to Patch it says “alreadly been patched or different version” reinstalled many times and tried many things and i keep getting the same result.keeps asking for activation.

this is an excellent program to customize the way your windows looks. i’ve been using it for the last 4 yrs or so and will continue to do so.

for people who are concerned with possible slow downs of your PC experience, fear not, for any half decent CPU with 2GB of RAM and 128MB GPU memory will be able to handle it with no noticeable lag/slow downs in PC performance.

So unless you have anything less than a Pentium 4 + 512MB RAM + 64MB GPU Memory, you might have to reconsider using Windowblinds, but it’ll still work if you set your settings to moderate (e.g. round edges, shades, animations etc.)

for great and free themes, i recommend deviantart site or customize.org, enjoy!

No one answered the one other person with this problem, and it really stinks. Download works perfect until I need the code. Open the keygen, get a number, put it in and “you appear to to have entered a serial number for an old or unknown product”. Stinks, cuz I’ve been wanting this for a while.

It explains all about how resource hogging is a myth with these softwares. I have this & the whole Object Desktop suite installed with 1gb of RAM. I easily still have 65+ percent of RAM left (with other apps running too). My system never lags or slows down either.

Try it out or do your homework before complaining

Also after installation, to patch I followed the instructions given @45, but even after killing the below processes I am still getting “cant open file” error. Pls help

you need to terminate the following process before patching
vista: WbVista.exe (and VistaSrv.exe if listed)
xp: WBINST~1.exe
