Im assuming we have some Star Wars fans here? Here are the first 2 episodes of the new Star Wars Clone Wars animated tv series that was pre’d not long ago by 0TV.

Episode 1: While the King of the planetary system Toydaria and Yoda are negotiating a new treaty, Asajj Ventress and the Seperatist Droid Army attack.

Episodes 2: Anakin and Ashoka have to save Jedi Master Plo Koon and his clone troopers after the Seperatist Army uses their devastating new weapon.

    Hey, does anyone know if the movie that was in theaters a couple of months ago is just the first few episodes of the show cobbled together, or was that a separate story?

    Can’t find it on the global wide internets.

    It’s completely new, follows after the movie. The movie is actually coming out to DVD on November 11th.

    If it is anything like the animated movie then it will be lame unless you are 6 years old. Star Wars stopped being good after Empire Strikes Back.

    Pixar films are aimed at kids as well, but they are also fun for adults. The Clone Wars movie was just mind-numbingly dumb. George Lucas stopped caring about the audience long ago, and is only in it to sell toys and video games.

    Actually Lucas has been really cool about the franchise. For example, when people were making Star Wars fullconversions for the first Doom game, he gave them written permission to use his copyrights as long as they didn’t charge anything for the mod. That’s way cooler than every other big media company. Try to make a freeware Mickey Mouse or Simpsons game and their lawyers would fall over each other in their haste to tax that ass.

    Also, after watching the final cut of the Clone Wars movie, he actually considered labeling it non-canon, which means that the events of the movie would not exist in the official Star Wars universe or the Star Wars Expanded universe. Only due to overwelming fan emails did he allow it to be part of the universe.

    the series was good, atleast the first episode was. Yoda kick’n ass is always cool, that was the real good thing bout the 2nd movie. I’d atleast check out the 1st ep. if your at all interested.

    Pretty decent story wise, animation wise I agree with Ropert who called them “wooden”, pretty much looking like they were carved out of wood.

    I’m not really sure about giving the battle robots personalities, joking etc I just do not see that as one trait that the empire would ant programmed into them.

    I can see C3PO and other programmed that way since they will be with humans all the time, but these idiots seem to be for comedy relief and that sucks the air out of the show

    I realize this isn’t a discussion board for the film, but I just had to add my two cents.

    I have to disagree that Lucas is just doing this for the $$$. I mean, he has more money than one person could ever possibly spend. I mean, seriously! I do agree that the movie Clone Wars was pretty lame. There is a comical side to the Star Wars universe (Droids cartoon, Ewoks TV show, Clone Wars animated, etc.) that Lucas envisions. Unfortunately, to some fans, it just doesn’t fit with the elusive, dark (realistic) viewpoint.

    It doesn’t necessarily mean it sucks, it just means Star Wars is different things to different people.
