    No, this is not the same as the previous cartoon. The two are set in the same period of Star Wars but they’re both different.

    The previous series was pretty good and I’m pi$$ed that, apparently, once this new tv series gets released Lucasfilm are going to discontinue DVDs of the old series.

    I still can’t believe they’re releasing the first three episodes of this new tv series as ‘a movie’ and charging people for it. I hate George Lucas.

    I saw the movie yesterday and it was TERRIBLE. And I say this as a Star Wars fan who can excuse *a lot* to see new stories.

    It was pure garbage, not even worth a download when it comes out. Now I’m thinking the new TV show is going to be more of the same crap, and that’s really disappointing.

    i saw the movie a couple of weeks ago as they had it on base for a special showing. Movie was good. Had a star wars feel but a little polished up for the kids. As far as the storyline i thought it was good. Definately worth a gander.

    @ 25: Terrible ? What’s “terrible” ? The plot ? or maybe its the characters ? No no..I think you meant the very unrealistic CGI screening…

    For all the star wars fan, this movie is a must see !
    If you’re curious on what went on between the 2nd and the 3rd episodes of the Star Wars movies…. Watch it !

    New Star Wars are us useless indeed.
    In all of “first” three everything was explained, who Luk’s father is, how he became, and everything else. The whole story
    And then we got the prequels, in which they “3D”eed us. With fu**in useless script.
    I don’t give a s*it how Darth Vader becoming what he is.
    Because I know that already what he is, and how he became from original movies.
    Prequels always sucks because it was explained shortly in “original” movie.

    It’s only a movie!!!

    …..may the Shwartz be with you.

    Next time we will have ET prequel, His adventures in space and how he crash-landed to Earth. Made by ILM and Steven Spielberg, Directed by George Lucas.

    Fu*k off George Lucas!

    @32 Common Sense –
    You don’t have to be a Master to have a Padawan. A Jedi only has to have reached Knighthood, which Anakin has and you can actually see the ceremony in the Clone Wars cartoon series.

    Obi-Wan took on Anakin as his Padawan without even going through the Trials & attaining Knighthood, though the Council hurried him through the Trials and held his Knighthood ceremony immediately following the events of Episode I.

    At the time of Episode One, there were still less than one hundred Jedi Masters, but several thousand Jedi Knights and several thousand Jedi Padawan’s and hundreds of younglings. In many different sources it mentions how most Jedi never surpass Knighthood. Very few ever achieve the level of Jedi Master. If you read the novels (which are not “cannon”, but approved by Lucas, so they’re considered “second-cannon”), Obi-Wan was the youngest Jedi to ever become a Jedi Master, and he was in his FORTIES!

    Besides, the fact that Lucas already established with Ep. 3 that Anakin never made the level of Jedi Master, then his own writings (the Star Wars Novelizations EIV, EV, EVI) would then be made invalid as in the novelizations, Vader speaks to Luke and to Emperor Palpatine about his previous students (plural), and he actually says something like “both before and after finding the true power of the dark side of the Force.” Which implies he had a padawan before falling …

    no, it’s not a 150 million dollar movies with live actors not really doing a very good job, no ,the animation is television grade, but of course if it is to continue to television, this is how it should be. but not a bad movie, keeps the series going, maybe should charge less than price for admission, but hollywood don’t play dat.

    The thing I find offensive about the new SW movies – the prequels and this series – is that Yoda has been turned into a muppet.

    Which is ironic you know.

    When he really WAS a muppet in the original movies, he was far more tangible as a character, he had soul. You could see it was done with love. Now he’s just silly. The new movies completely spoiled the whole atmosphere for me. I’ll watch the originals again, but never the prequels or any of this other supersized franchised cr4p.

    @32 Common Sense –
    You don’t have to be a Master to have a Padawan. A Jedi only has to have reached Knighthood, which Anakin has and you can actually see the ceremony in the Clone Wars cartoon series.

    *Um no, according to the Guide to Star Wars Universe, Anikin never made it beyond Padawan. Even at the close of the 2nd movie he was still not a Jedi Knight and without the Councils express permission, unless you attained that rank, you could not take a student. Even Lucas has stated this himself*

    Obi-Wan took on Anakin as his Padawan without even going through the Trials & attaining Knighthood, though the Council hurried him through the Trials and held his Knighthood ceremony immediately following the events of Episode I.

    *Obi-Wan was a full jedi Knight. This was granted to him at the death of his teacher by the council, and it is clearly stated as such in the 1st Episode*

    *yes you are correct on that, BUT Lucas also stated that to take a student you MUST have reached the rank of Jedi Knight, and again, Anakin never did. He was appointed to the Council, but his rank still was a Padawan and he was clearly told this. Why else did the emperor ask him why they never made him a knight and use that to turn him? All this is shown in the 1st and 2nd episodes.*

    * I have the interactive Guide to the SW Universe and that phrase was never uttered by Vader in the books nor the comics nor the movies according to it, and this has over 10 years of research into it. Could you please state what book/movie/comic you got this from? According to Lucas, Anikin never had a student and that is why in all the fan mags he is dissing this as he has stated in the Star Wars Magazine that this does not fit into his SW Universal time line, and even the writers of this stated that they took liberties and added things that never were there to begin with*

    we don’t think it is reasonable to spend hundreds thousands dollars to buy a decorating watch. you can use those money to invest in other industry which will return you good profit.
    here you just need to spend 100-200 dollars to buy a replica rolex watches.
    U-Boat replica watches are made by the rating 1:1 according to the original watches, and you can’t distinguish the original and the fake watches when you look at the surface of the watches.
