I am a huge Kubrik fan, too and I was disappointed. There are a whole lot of movie references (The Shining, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Full Metal Jacket, Eyes Wide Shut, A Clockwork Orange and Dr Strangelove were the ones I got but I guess there are some more) but they were wildly spread across a very strange and not at all interesting story line. Being a fan of Kubrik’s movies, my hopes were high but the movie isn’t even worth the download

Yes it is.

That’s what I suspected to be honest.

Even “Good Show!”’s post (above this post) doesn’t explain WHY he liked it.

It’s a shame this site is full of kids who are unable to write an intelligent review of what they though about a film (as in talking about what they liked/disliked, what they thought about the story/acting etc.).

This a good site for finding out about new scene releases but it would be SO MUCH BETTER if there were more literate/intelligent people who were able to provide a decent review/critique of a film to help others decide if it’s worth downloading or not.

Can’t have your cake AND eat eat it I guess….

Um, how about telling us WHY you don’t like the movie ?

Posts like the ones quoted above really aren’t very helpful !

This film sounds quite interesting to me (being a Kubrik fan), but since I have limited download capacity I’d be interested to hear a proper critique from someone that’s seen it.
This critique can be good or bad as long as it goes into detail about why you did or didn’t like the film.

Or is that too much to ask from the people that frequent this site ?

Festival does not affect the quality. Its a standard DVD Rip, only that the movie hasnt played in Theaters but only on festivals

What does the ‘festival’ tag mean with regard to quality?

Is it lower quality than a retail dvd-rip, or does it just mean that the movie has place at a film festival and doesn’t effect quality?
