well Dl the 1.0004 patch. Im in the uk, bought the radiation edition. still unable to play multiplayer. Never have been able to which is a massive shame. invalid host all the time, versions the same guess i need a radiation version host? is it just me or was the release of this game badly thought out.

Hi guys, when I installed the patch v1.0004 and applied the crack i get the following message:

XR_3DA.exe – entry point not found

Love the game, think its brilliant, havent really been able to try out the multiplayer scene due to being the only one with a legit version…

You guys think that they will make stalker a comp game in the future? Like a 5 v 5 artefact hunt??

In any case the game rocks and I cant wait for Clear Sky!!

I’ve installed this patch, and completed the game again, and i have to say.

this patch is the miracle stalker players have been looking for, it turns a mediocre buggy game, into the best FPS availiable today, install endurance mod, and trader mod, and it’s awesome, in some areas i was getting 10-15 fps, with this patch it’s 70-110.

if u liked this game but felt abused by it’s bugs, or haven’t played it due to bugs, this patch SOLVES your problem.

@32. Yeah I found out about the “real” endings after i did the crappy greed ending, however kinda disapointed it completed it instead of just being another normal quest. (I couldn’t be arsed to go to a previous save game wayyy back to do a mission which would give an extra hour of gaming).

To all of you guys with mods installed in the version 1.0003 (like Faiakes mod) you are all wellcome to crashland, the game/saves STOP working after the patch (1.0004) is installed, not even loading the savedgames almost of the times.

Any update on this, just say!

Re: the different endings, you guys know there are 2 “real” endings if you go through the secret door, right? (which you can get regardless of how you’ve played the game)

I adds some play time to the game also.

i didn’t noted any optimization, indeed the memory usage has increased, now in 1024×768 all max, no aa, and no aniso, i have a 1,7gb load in my ram! that’s a lot of memory i need to say.
