S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky-RELOADED

Okay, I know you are all waiting for Crysis: Warhead, however RELOADED just released another quality release (I think lots of you are waiting for this one too): S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Clear Sky. It’s a stand-alone expansion, so you don’t need S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Shadow of Chernobyl installed :) However, be sure to read the installation notes. Have fun!

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is a survival FPS game for PC based on a ‘what-if’ scenario of the second Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant accident. The game is created as a warning to mankind against mindless play with technologies. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky is the official prequel to the renowned S.T.A.L.K.E.R. game by the Ukraine-based GSC Game World studio. The game is set in 2011 and brings forth the events to have preceded the third campaign of Strelok to the Zone center. S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Clear Sky introduces an alternative look onto the events of the original game and offers the player to try himself out as a mercenary s.t.a.l.k.e.r. in search of his own path in the world of S.T.A.L.K.E.R.

    New Stalker:
    - is full of bugs (like old one)
    - is even more unstable than old one
    - is localized badly (PL and EN versions are awful)
    - has stupid AI (like old one)
    - is ugly (Crysis works better than this and of course it looks better)
    - is short and nonsense
    - it’s horribly scripted
    But…
    - there are artifact detectorz! nice idea
    - weapon mods are also cool
    However it’s still possible (and quite fun, actually) to kill 97% of everything using knife only xD

    No it f*cking isn’t. Play SoC, the answer is in the end (real one). Anomalies and stuff are not because of reactor itself.

    My opinion: Bleh! According to the Prussian gaming site AG game got very low score of 40% outta 100%. According to players this game is no good. Generally nothing new, even the same AI that made NPCs believe that they are able to pass through walls. I thing they just didn’t spend much time working on it, believing that the title will sell itself. Maybe it’s all cause GSC owner is a bit of selfish SOB, or so the company’s employees say. Anyways, haven’t seen any good or decent games to hit the store since RD GRID came out (i haven’t tried the most recent ones yet). It’s like there is just no more fresh ideas left at all in the whole gaming industry… But thats just my own opinion.

    Steps to ensure the game will run:
    1. Mount/Burn and Install the game from the iso.
    2. DO NOT RUN THE GAME YET, also NO SERIAL is required.
    3. After the game is installed, install “001. Patch 1.0003.exe”
    (do not run the game yet)
    4. After the patch is installed, install “002. Patch 1.0004.exe”
    (do not run the game yet – this patch will remove A TON of bugs/problems from the game!)
    5. Extract crack.rar to a temporary directory (NOD32 or some other antiviruses (MAY display a virus warning, but the files are clean)
    6. From that directory, copy all of the “bin” folder’s contents in your game’s “bin” directory, overwriting any existing files.
    7. If you want, mount the stalker mini image (game works without it if you followed the steps correctly). It has been tested personally by me.
    8. Play the game and support the creators by buying the original!

    IT WORKS

    I actually bought the game on steam so I have the updated version and since yesterday it crashed only once when I accidentally went to another zone and wanted to instantly come back.

    For everyone waiting for Crysis: go ahead and skip this game.
    It’s not about the super-extra-eye-bleeding-graphics. It’s about the atmosphere, and I love this game even more than SoC because it has very nice new ideas which expand on the previous game’s gameplay.

    On the other hand Crysis I didn’t like Crysis because the fun of playing with the suit ended on the first map and after that it’s just mindlessly running around and blowing everything up.

    YMMV.

    Still, the story is about mankind tampering with nature and technology, even if the nuclear disaster wasn’t the reason for the Zone, another experiment was. Don’t post nonsense.

    English version was out a while ago now, but I’ve been waiting for a proper release. So… will this be un-nuked or what? Is it safe for download?

    the crack that 53 provides seems to be the originals they alteast contain the reloaded tag in them check your self by opening one of the files in notepad… open the smalest one since its faster that way

    It’s never supposed to be used on 1.5.0.4, only for 1.5.0.3.
    1.5.0.4 has some new nasty anti-piracy tricks.
    I’m sure you heard people complained about not being able to move between zones and get stuck forever.
    I am not sure about Vista x64 though.

    Don’t bother with this… you can only patch up to 1.5.03 but this patch causes the game to fock up halfway thru, and savegames get corrupted (aka no finishing the game)…which is why 1.5.04 is released, which you can’t use on this pirated release.

    Buy the game and play it :p

    Game is EXCELLENT! Its hard, very hard, but if you loved the first one you will love this. I think so far this one is better imho.

    No bugs thus far, I bought the game so mine is the US version. The UK pirated version i played for one day, super buggy and slightly different. US version is stable.

    I recommend buying this game considering the team that made it is 10 guys big! Gotta support independent games folks.

    S.T.A.L.K.E.R. sucks. For anyone that has not played it yet. I wanted to like it, and played it a few times hoping the graphics would make up for the game play, but it still sucked. Look at the videos on IGN. The game play is real slow. Monsters pop up right in front of you from no where. You shot them and they do not react until they die.

    been playing the muti5 english with the russian crack for 4 or 5 days now (it didn’t even need a mini image) replaced with this crack works just as good with all the starforce crap uninstalled. Makes the game load up faster at least :) .

    hmm, I’ve been playing this using the 1.5.04 update and the 1.5.03 exe and core dll. I wonder if i can get away with using the proper 1.5.04 files with my previous saves. Doubt it but oh well ^^.

    I know how to fix the fsgame.ltx error.

    Just launch the game from the shortcut given, or make sure you make the target shortcut launch without from in the main installation directory not the bin folder.

    Anybody saying Stalker is a bad game can just leave this thread anyway… I mean what’s the matter with you people, Stalker has one of the greatest stories a FPS adventure has seen in a long time, who gives a rat’s ass about the glitches, they get fixed. I’d rather play a glitchy masterpiece than a well polished sterile game the likes EA tends to publish.

    PAckit 69 is corrupt whick screws up packet 76, download the winrar 69 packit fix. The new packit is a diffeerent name that the old , so delete the old 69 and rename the new 69 to the same as the old and this will fix the 76 packit problem and away you go

    install and start the game from the autostart on the cd to get past the Cannot open file fsgame.ltx thingy.

    workt for me vista32

    but it chrashes when im going to leave the first town :(

    I don’t know about you kids but this here Machine is able to play this Ukranian Nuclear beauty mighty fine on them Windows XP.
    I only don’t get to have “watered surfaces” for whatever that means.
    Maybe these guys meant “wet surfaces” . Oh well, I quess I hate VISTA as well as jews (naturaly !!!)

    I cant install damn game. I run Setup.exe and dos thing comes up and it does nothing. Please help, some files are also on disc setup-1.bin setup-2.bin etc…

    @Help.
    Don’t run setup exe.
    Load the Image in either Alcohol or Demon Tools, Rclick the virtual DVD drive in My Computer, and click on Autoplay, so the Installer screen-menu will show up.
