Staind The Illusion Of Progress 2008 iFA

iFA Just released Staind’s sixth studio album, The Illusion of Progress. I’ve always been a huge fan of Staind and have seen them live a couple of time. Their new single “believe” is ok but definitely not the best track on the album.

Riding on the success of their last three chart topping albums, Staind is back with the highly anticipated release of their sixth studio album, The Illusion of Progress. The new Flip/Atlantic recording will be released on August 19th with the first single, Believe, hitting radio on June 24th. Staind’ s last 3 studio albums have debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart, putting them in an elite class that includes U2, Metallica, Pearl Jam, Dave Matthews Band, Van Halen, and Disturbed.

    Who cares if rlslog is not on a release as soon as it comes out. It’s free and if you don’t like like quit visiting then. I for one was super happy to see a new release from staind. I would not of known if not for rlslog.

    this is a great album but i miss the old screaming stand that made you want to break stuff when listening to it.this whole album is a slow alternative style but sounds great.

    It’s free??? – show me one place you have to pay for this info… and a place that’s not littered with ads.

    “Hot info about new scene releases” is the motto
    *hot* referring to the quickness of a release… as in (what I’d expect to be) less than twenty minutes after it’s pre’d. Rlslog has, from what I can see, about 7-10 editors so, that shouldn’t be a problem.

    well that speaks for itself. Or it should.
    Since 11:46 (Penn and Teller) as in 16 hours – there’s been 3 entries – a HDrip, an app, and an album – there has been easily well over 100 pre’s since then, so pick something *new* (or relatively new to report on).

    I’d like to think I’m still on the same side as rlslog but your competition is literally beating the t!ts out of you.
    you’re in trouble already with all the crap that’s gone on lately so step your game up, or you can say goodbye to the 200K visitors a day.

    This is the first I seen this new album available.
    Scene releases the other site I check just posted it as well.
    I don’t monitor newsgroups or IRC so have no idea when it may have first shown up.
    even with the recent staff problems Releaselog is still the best site and the one I use the most.
    The New editors seem to be doing as good or better than the old.

    good album. Though not as good as “Chapter V,” perhaps because that album incorporates their heavier sound, which I like the most. This one is more “commercial,” along the lines of 14 shades of grey. Thanks for the share!
