“Staff” note added to comments
I’ve been already talking about this in comments of some post, but why not to make a normal announcement for it. I’ve just cooked a tiny script which will display “staff” after the name of each editor writing articles here at Releaselog in our comments. You may wonder why is this useful, but it’s actually more than needed: you don’t need more than day to see some “i-think-i’m-funny” asshole commenting with the name of one of us. And that’s kinda annoying, especially when there weren’t any method how could any reader recognize real editor of Releaselog from someone else. I thought this is a very common issue on other blogs, so that there’s a special plugin for it, but there actually wasn’t anything working. The script comparing entered email address with the one stored in database is a useless junk, because everyone knows our mails and everyone can fake it then. So I made my own way, which will distinguish us from all wannabe jokers – you can already see it in action.
