It is nuked but the crack will still work.

It’s just scene rules that a crack must fully bypass the game’s security rather that just emulating it – which is what Reloaded have done for pretty much all their recent releases.

If you plan on buying this when it comes out (and you should. the online features are a major part of it) you should really consider blocking the game with your firewall. EA has a nasty habit of banning mac and IP addresses if they detect you pirating a game even if you buy a legit copy later.

Because the crack is working totaly, but some people think that emulationg the protection ain’t a crack.
They think the whole protection should be removed.

What anti-virus and firewall do you guys use? Enthwar (86): The DVD cover certainly shows that it supports both Windows and Mac. This should be that retail version and the crack seems to be only game data files (not .exe), so I’d say yes, it most likely works on a Mac.

Enthwar (90): Please don’t take my word for it, as I haven’t looked at the crack files myself. But from the way the installation process is worded in the .nfo, it looks like it’ll work for both Mac and Windows.

Besides, even if the crack doesn’t work, you’ll still have downloaded this whole DVD and will only need to download the Mac crack, should it come.

No it won’t. Downloaded games like this never work online unless you buy a legit serial key. If you try it and decide you like it you can usually purchase a key from eBay. Just read the NFO though…

The good thing is that the game really takes place offline. You actually do everything offline. The online is just to download other player’s creations which you should still be able to do through your online browser. I think the site is sporepedia.com or something, and you can download user-created content from there. You also won’t be able to download updates for the game, but you can be sure that they will be cracked and released in the scene once they are out.

TorrentDamage is a private tracker with SUPER HIGH download speeds; it’s amazing. They posted this torrent, but I’m gonna DL it from NewTorrents because TorrentDamage REQUIRES a high share ratio or you get banned.

With something this big, I don’t wanna take the chance that I won’t be able to seed it enough to get my ratio back.

You have to register with them via invite. You can get an invite from their forums or chat room, but you really have to jump through hoops. (Like posting screenshots of your bandwidth measured, your ratio on another private tracker).

But it’s worth it. If I ever need something fast, I go there. I’ve gotten almost 1MB/sec download speeds from their tracker. Just gotta make sure you keep seeding to keep your ratio up.

Got to the Space stage so far, could have been there a couple of hours ago but i was enjoying the Creature stage too much to ‘evolve’ right away.

I have to say, the first 2 stages are my favourite, the 3rd/4th (tribal and civilisation) are like a poor RTS. And space looks really dull to me so far too. Lots to do up there, but its basically like playing star wars with a micro machines toy and doing crappy trading/missions with other colonies.

Started off great, and now it’s just a little flavourless to me. Shame. Was considering buying it until a couple of hours ago.

250,000 hits may be good for martin but is bad for us. As you can see the dropkicks drongos and dregs come out with their 20 cent a word posts for the software companies – spreading lies about the crack then even worse a bigger d**k stole a set of links from a more discerning board, posted them here presumably some sort of ego reinforcement need and the links were promptly taken down off rapidshare after a company spy saw them here. So his littl;e ego trip inhibited the game’s dissemination.
Go back to more discreet sites free of banner ads malware and give ups.

@167 – Played from start to 30mins into Space age in a single sitting with no problems.

Also, i like how there’s so much smacktalk about who is the better site, specially regarding the posting of Spore.

I checked 3 of the ‘other’ sites. Only one posted this release before ReleaseLog, but Releaselog had download links (Rapidshares, etc) before them. Purely because there is more traffic here, so more people to potentially find/upload some links, etc.

Why the big mental masturbation over being ‘FIRSTTT!!!’ when i can download from ReleaseLog comments faster, lol. GG!

The crack will work fine on Mac 10.5.4. Just put the .exe in Spore.app/Contents/Resources/transgaming/c_drive/Spore/SporeBin

I had the retail version of Creature Creator installed, which had to be uninstalled for the full release. I also uninstalled the EA download manager, just for good measure. After installing and applying the crack, the game never launches, just screws with my desktop and creates an error log. Is anyone else having this problem? Hopefully a new crack will be released soon, cause the RELOADED one isnt doing it for me.

The torrent is working fine, as always expected.
Took me only about 1,5 hours at about 650 kbps.
A pizza and a beer later, I installed and followed the NFO instructions and everything is working.

It’s a bit more boring than the game magazine reviews make it stand out, but still an enjoyable timekiller game.

My preorder at the local Shop is still placed, so I’m picking it up on Monday to be able to use the Online functions too, but at least I can demo it out until then now.

After i got to the galactic space stuff i was flying around and bombing etc for a few hours going back and forth exploring UNTIL the BUG showed up… you cant leave your Homeplanet without crashing to desktop. Well you can go in and out all you want as long as you don’t pick any plants or animals up it seems… this Happend after about “5-6 hours” into the space age no other bugs until that. problem is tho you cant get anywere in the game without getting those stupid stuff in your ship if you wanna advance….

really hoping for a patch..

I cant sell parts of the guys… i drag them off and it shows a sell price but when i let go the part just snaps back on the guy…. my creature is starting to look really stupid cuz i have so many parts on him now…

Also i cant use my keyboard for the skill shortcuts for some reason.. i have to click everything. The keyboard works though because i CAN use it to move my guy…

i got absolutly no bug since i started playing but this isnt really impressive

cell stage:nice one i liked it..kind of a bit quick though

creature stage:the most fun..no wonder they showed mostly that in most video

tribal stage: really short and not alots you can do sadly

civilization stage: pretty much the same as tribal…you mine resource and swarm or socialise with the other to conquer your planet…really short and boring

space stage:alots missing imo…to many stuff you have to redo all the time but there is alots to do probly more than in any phase but get tedious fast and repetitive sadly…not much variation in combat(really disapointed on that one),social,terraforming(wich i enjoyed the most so far),exploring,etc….the gathering and selling resource is really tedious and stupidly boring

I have downloaded and installed fine, when I copy the crack to the sporebin folder and go to run it says it is not a valid win32 application. (it only says this when this crack is there otherwise it trys to confirm reg code online)

do i need to have firewall installed in my computer? I mean to block it from internet access? Or just simply following the install instructions and not clicking go online (or something like that) enough?

The computer I’m planning to use for this one doesn’t have any firewall installed. (Owner too paranoid of firewall apps eating into her ram)

First of all, spore is great. but i have a question about the going online thing. Are we not supposed to make a spore account or something? as to not go online using that? I haven’t made one yet, I’ll wait until it releases in stores tomorrow. Unless you mean the game connecting to the internet entirely. Also, on the ban thing, will i be able to go the the EA games site and log in if banned? I still can, but I’m still asking just to be on the safe side.

Well, what can I say. Two years ago, I was excited, because this game was going to be released any moment – With Will Wright’s promising tech demo’s and exciting presentations, I had expected the gameplay to match that of many classical games.

Days ago it finally happened. Spore hasn’t been released in my country yet but thanks to RLSLOG and the fine RS posters I could actually play this, but having done so, I doubt I will pay for the original version. Will Wright promised us things such as Civilization-like gameplay, and from the video’s I’ve seen it certainly seemed the case to have a certain level of micro-management at planetary/city level. After having played through all the phases however, I can safely say the game hasn’t been as intriguing and enjoyable as I had expected it to be.

Content you make is so dumbed down that more or less everything ends up looking the same: Besides, when you’re in space phase, you don’t really get to see your race, or any other races for that matter, from close up anymore. Just a small, front-view representation icon of the race.

The way the space phase is played is probably Spore’s biggest flaw: There’s too much nonsense you have to go through to even be able to do start terraforming and colonizing different planets, not to mention the Grox: How the hell are you supposed to get into the center of the Milkyway on Hard, anyway? They keep invading your colonies and destroy them if you’re unlucky and when you try to get anywhere near them, you’re dead.
City management is also a laugh: these too are dumbed down so badly to the point there’s just three individual types of buildings!

Anyway, my point is that (user made/PC generated) creations are barely significant in the end game at all, rendering the option to pay for the original version of this unique ‘Massively single player game’, quite useless. Thanks for reading and feel free to share your opinion on this statement.

if u have winrar installed do this
right click the .rar files > extract here > it will extract and u get the .iso
then mount it using Daemon Tool
install
copy the cracked .exe into ur game install folder in sporebin folder
play the game
note : do not register the game by using ur ea account.. and the game will not go online unless u login with ur ea account

Uh, yeah.
When it started installing spore using reloaded’s spore iso it started to say something along the lines of “The file C:\program files\electronic arts\Spore\______ does not match the file in the setup’s .cab file. The blank is basically everything in the whole installation from the htm to everything.

Is the installation corrupt?
Is there a way To fix?

ok i have been playing spore for a while now….on an older system p4 2.4gzh with 1 gig ram and new video card….was getting a lot of crashes except when i totally disable my network connection ….i then can play for 10 hours straight with no crashes at all(and yes i did play it for 10 hours straight one day) even got to see the grox
