Speed Racer CAM XviD-TBG

Another greatly awaited action movie from Wachowski brothers enters the scene cycle: group TBG released a first cam of Speed Racer with Emile Hirsch in the main role. This group wasn’t a scene one in the past but they are a regular one now with their releases being pred at various sites, so we will post about it here. The quality of this rip is prety good, but it contains (Dutch) hardsubs in the image. Besides that, the image is really clean, colours very vivid and it’s all very neat for a first cam. You can expect a propered version without encoded subs soon.

The story begins with Speed Racer who is a young man with natural racing instincts whose goal is to win The Crucible, a cross-country car racing rally that took the life of his older brother, Rex Racer. Speed is loyal to the family business, run by his parents Pops and Mom. Pops designed Speed’s car, the Mach 5. The owner of Royalton Industries makes Speed a lucrative offer, Speed rejects the offer, angering the owner. Speed also uncovers a secret that top corporate interests, including Royalton, are fixing races and cheating to gain profit. With the offer to Speed denied, Royalton wants to ensure that Speed will not win races. Speed finds support from his parents and his girlfriend Trixie and enters The Crucible in a partnership with his one-time rival, Racer X, seeking to rescue his family’s business and the racing sport itself.

    They’ve always been part of the scene, and they’ve always done very nice cam. This one may be the worst they’ve ever made and still it’s better than most of the cams we’re used to see.
    Check The.Golden.Compass.INTERNAL.CAM.XViD-TBG or Interview.CAM.Xvid-TBG (best cam i’ve ever seen, i wanted to watch the dvdrip, but it was oos (i mailed the team, but no repack), so i had to watch again the cam).

    Great job TBG, u’ll always be in my heart.

    You are all insane. Either this or The Dark Knight will probably be the best action movie this year. The only thing that sucks about it, is that such quality could have been used for a somewhat more worthy anime title…

    Well, I for one liked the movie itself.
    Nice style and fluid action episodes. I don’t think this is just a comic flick for kids. (Some guy even gets beaten up/ tortured in a scene.) John Goodman, gotta love the fellow, well casted. Rest of the cast can’t pleasure me that much. The action itself and all effects are nice. I can see myself watching this HighDef in due time moreover while the effects are so delicate. One would expect an other Matrix adept from the Wachowski Bros, but this time they showed their large creativeness once again. Although I think you’ll love it or hate it. One thing this movie doesn’t do is leaving the viewer at piece. It will catch you (or not, as stated) and take you on a speedy journey.

    Now, for this cam itself: Vid 8.5 Audio 7.5 Movie: 9
    Vid is bright- even darker scenes are okay, has nice color and barely cropped hence the Dutch subtitles, which actually don’t distract that much. Considering this cam is over 2h and all squished together matching 600mb the encoder might have done an excellent job imho. But I’ll rather d/l an 2cd xvid and get the better quality for free. ;)
    Sound is audible. Nearly any audience which interferes with listen experience. TS would be sweet, though.

    I would take this kind of cam any day. Such quality on US opening day blows me away. This deserves line audio, go get it TBG. Great job and thx again

    This is great quality for cam, and just cuz I hated v for vendetta and the latter 2 matrices, Im not gonna just shoot this down i mean i saw those movies once and that good (if this sucks then ill only watch it once nuff said.), this should be one of the best this summer, and all you people dissing this movie and the Wack bros. need to stfu, you go get a deal for investors to give you 300 million dollars to make a movie and make a good one, not a one of you realize that if you were in the bros. position you woulndt know what the f$%@ to do. So congrats Wack bros. on making an anime into a movie id like to see more of that.

    poster get your facts checked TBG has always been a scene grp preing on scene sites – also you cannot proper this cam because they tagged it correctly subbed, a non subbed cam would not be a proper either by any site rules or TDX.

    really trippy movie, i love the concept, just not for everyone, the scenes are full of everything, these guys are genius but not everyone will appreciate it, since they expect some serious tramma and what not, so rofl to these people.

    pretty entertaining overall, if you liked speed racer or tron like stuff watch this..

    Holy f*ck man I just finished watching this in the theater and I’m currently downloading this torrent. I recommend this movie for any movie-goer. The snotty movie watchers will probably complain, But if you enjoy a family movie with a lot new techniques used in a movie then you’ll love this.

    TBG always have been a scene grp. If a rls isn’t hitting your site, doens’t mean it isn’t pre’d. As long as I can remember TBG releases are pre’d at the very best topsites. It might just tell something about the sites you’re on…

    No TDX rule says cams can’t be subbed, as long as it’s labeled properly.
    So, again, get ur facts straight! Expect no proper cam.

    @80 lol you must either be a kid or you have no education on the cartoon the movie is based off of. Have you never seen Dragonball Z either? The M is a classic trademark of anime which is how the cartoon originated. now, not acting like a total brainiac here mind you because i cannot recall what the M stands for either, but it usually was signified on main chars.

    Why didn’t they let us know it has non-english subs hardwired when they named this release? A heads up in the NFO file would have been ok enough, but I would liked to have known that whatever language the subs are (beats me) can’t be turned off before I bothered with this CAM release.

    I grew up on the cartoon, so I don’t mind the way this is targeted at pre-teens/teens – but it’s just wrong to see this movie in anything but a dvd quality release because of the colors in this movie. I’ll just wait until an HDrip comes out before checking this out again.
