You’re so far off the mark it’s embarrassing (I’m 32 and have a PhD in Theoretical Political Science, I am quite well aware of popular culture’s workings and effects on Western societies and all the things you mention, I listen to nothing of what you state, I prefer John Zorn, Bach, and Godspeed you Black Emperor).

You think you are smart, you think you are one among the few to see a critical side of South Park, and you come off like a newly-born-again teenage ideologue (Left Right or Centre, you choose, the argumentation are equally simplistic in all camps) when you chastise people for not wanting to see the truth. In fact, the social criticism in recent SP is so painstakingly obvious that I am surprised you think anyone misses it.

And you feel so cool that you see those things in SP that you are completely blind to the fact that the series has always been about criticising politics and various aspects of society, but it used to be done with a sharp and innovative sense of humour and often more implicitly (look it up, dimwit). And the portions that were only about humour were much sharper as well. It actually used to be less poo than there is lately.

I am not surprised, Trey and Matt had to run out of ideas sooner or later, they lasted quite a long time as it was, until season 8 plus a few classics from season 9, IMO). Now it’s all about shock value cumbersomly built around some current topic (the reference to harvest rituals in last week’s episode was just plain stupid).

So, by all means, think highly of yourself if you want, but it is obvious to everyone else that you are not so smart as you think you are.

I could go on, but I am convinced that if you haven’t got my point by now you will not get it at all.

o, and i forgot, kyle, #70, you are a purrfect example of the sheep i speak of, you just dont have a clue do you ? lemmie geuss, your fave movie to come out in the last year was spiderman 3, you listen to britney, christina and all the gangster rap, and you watch south park because they swear and do pooh jokes, and the last 3 shows havent had alot of that, so they suck right, lol… ahh, to the FEMA camps you go … bahh bahhh

last weeks show was on of the best ever, and the show is only getting better… Only issue is the writers are slowly loseing intest in appeasing the sheep, and have decieded to get a little more intelligent and raw with their shows.. It might bug you to see the realitys of what we do to people like B spears, shes nothing but meat to most, and if she where to live with half a head, you can bet her promoters would keep promoteing her, and you can bet all you sick sheep would still tune in to see her boobies… most of you wont even understand what im saying im sure, but the fact of the matter is, south park is getting better and is to me, a thinker, funny as hell. = )
