lol Post 13. The people who founded america didn't really have any choice – It's was that or prison over here. They were mainly religeous & political trouble-makers who had been locked up for years. The British wanted to solve 2 problems at once and offered a full-pardon to anyone who would go over there on the ships.
This rose-tinted version of history about brave-souls fleeing an oppressive Royal family didn't happen. (Altho it does sound like the plot to a new Mel Gibson film).
P.s. on the dates thing, You americans are always banging on about 9/11. What happened on the 9th of november anyways?
