I haven’t heard much about this movie before. But i know it stars Bernie Mac, who passed away last year. This is a comedy musical and also stars Samuel L. Jackson, who really don’t enjoy after he puts himself in any movie. The ratings for this have been average, but i will give it a try as i like Bernie Mack. Enjoy the release.

Though it’s been some twenty years since they have spoken with one another, two estranged soul-singing legends agree to participate in a reunion performance at the Apollo Theater to honor their recently deceased band leader. Two former backup soul singers, Louis (Samuel L. Jackson) and Floyd (Bernie Mac) who have not spoken to each other in 20 years reluctantly agree to travel across the country together to a reunion concert to honor their recently deceased lead singer (played by John Legend). Cleo (Sharon Leal), a beautiful young woman who is believed to be Floyd’s daughter accompanies them as a new singer.

    Average movie. Watchable totally. It moved on bit slow sometimes and I cant say I really laughed at any point, more like smiled. worth a watch anyway, rip bernie.

    I cannot believe I am saying this but this site has lost all worth and no longer has any value to anyone but the noobs. Your editors have no idea about 90% of the movies you guys are reviewing. Samuel jackson and bernie mac in a movie that I admit wasn't great but it opened in every city and played trailers just like any other hollywood movie. So once again how can you write these lame ass posts saying you haven't heard of a movie.

    If you haven't heard of the movie then don't write the review or copy someone elses comments who has.

    This site is supposed to be a way for us, the fans, to learn about a release out there….so I am puzzled why the staff there thinks it is ok to have an uninformed person posting. This site is pure sh@$@ now…..the guys who left were and are right. I cant wait for the day this site is finally shut down for good….it's a friggin joke now.

    And for those who are going to post the usual lame response here is the answer……. because I keep hoping one day I will come back and find the site the way it used to be informative and respectable…. It's ok to dream right?

    Awwww, really? Hmmm, then I guess the opening of your Parlament and states that it is by the "Authority of her majesty the Queen" when opening Parlament, or when the "queen" demands someting your government jumps so fast they darn near kill themselves to get it for or to her; else why all the fuss when they screw up? But then again who really cares because only people who are inbred themselves would allow the most inbred family in the history of the world to "rule" them or send the children off to a school to actually live at the school and have someone else raise your kids. Or think they are better then anyone else. The last good part of your nation died in a Paris tunnel, after being chased by photographers. Heck even the Irish who you tried so hard to take over their Island nation, their economy is stomping yours into the ground. You cannot get over the fac that your country is a relic from the past and will never be as powerful as you think you are and that galls you. I mean really..how many times have other nations had to come pull your fat out of the fire and you seemingly never have got over a small 13 colony whooping the arse of the supposedly strongest military in the world, or people in India tossing you out 60 years ago; or you coming close to losing the Falkland Islands and having your arse beat yet again by a country you think is "below your station" So when you become a 3rd world country in the near future, then the rest of Europe and the world can laugh at how far you have fallen.
