Sony Vegas Pro v8.0a Corporate Edition-SUN

And finally here is usable version of new Vegas. Previous ones released by NoPE group are just trial versions camouflaged into “working version”… Working my a… Proof here! This one is tagged Corporate Edition. Interesting is that, there is no any official infos about Corporate edition on Sony’s web page. So this one is probably publishers “internal” version or something similar. I’ve installed it and activated it by “Register online” option, and typed fake infos & email. After that I’ve got a fully functional copy of Vegas 8. WTF? I dunno how those SUN guys managed it, but it works. No need for any cracking stuff or serial. Just Install - Register - Enjoy. After all, some facts about the release. 1. There’s no NFO file provided at all (at least i couldn’t find it), only “file_id.diz” is inside. 2. SUN who? First time I’ve heard of it. But, who cares? Enjoy in Vegas… ;-)

UPDATE: Found a NFO file.

    Danke

I wonder why a keygen hasn’t surfaced yet? I did install the legit trial, and it appears to have the same activation process as Vegas 7 (no V7 keygen doesnt work) because usually I prefer Keygens to cracks. It’s a trust thing :p

I usually prefer cracks to keygens, just because I’m always losing my keys.

    I found this:

You can not crack Vegas now, but can retain the 30 days trial every boot up. So you still can enjoy the product.

    Follow these instructions :-
    1. Run regedit
    2. Search for “Vegas Pro 8.0 Kernel”
it should be in something like:
    My Computer\HKEY_CLASSES_ROOT\CLSID\xxxxxxxx-A677-11d7-A773-00C04F68F44E
    3. go into Pins->Input->Types. There should be 4 keys here.
    4. Rename (or delete once you have tested) Key that contains DWORD values of 0 and 0C. For me it is {15a55411-2d33-0348-5490-91b400000040}
    5. Run Vegas… it should say 30 Days left

This method is much better than the crack posted here!

    This was at Demonoid.com.
And at Demonid.com, I found this:
    http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1396066/?show_files=1&page=1&ref=1193122850
    Enjoy torrent!

    your ip was logged guys!

i will wait for keygen or stick to vegas7.

  9. October 23rd, 2007 | 08:09

@8 .. I totally agree, sounds as if it’s a ploy from Sony to catch the pirates. I wonder how many IP’s they’ve logged from people registering their dodgy copy of Vegas online. I will pass on this and wait for a safer way.

Sony refers to this version as the Sony Vegas Pro v8.0a Rootkit Edition.

but i do not know what it means.

  14. SoniKalien
    October 23rd, 2007 | 11:20

Im gunna install it on my sandbox and do a rootkit scan and process watch.. theres absolutley no info whatsoever, which makes me highly suspicious.

Think I’ll stay away from ‘Rootkit’….
    http://updates.zdnet.com/tags/rootkit.html

    http://www.informationweek.com/story/showArticle.jhtml?articleID=174300636

    http://itmanagement.earthweb.com/article.php/3565746

“Security analysts discovered the XCP software opens a backdoor into your computer — mimicking the behavior of a class of malicious software that security experts call a ‘rootkit’.”

“These rootkits allow another party, in this case Sony, to secretly access your system via the Internet, allowing them to execute programs, gather information, and send back detailed information about your computer usage and other bits of potentially personal information about you.”

    You stoopid n00b

I can’t believe this - rlslog is now posting links that lead the poor blind users into the hands of the MPAA

As if we needed more evidence that rlslog was a MPAA honeypot

I sincerely doubt that Hatchet is correct.

  20. October 23rd, 2007 | 18:22

Guys, don’t blame me for release. Blame the SUN, the group who released it…

  21. October 23rd, 2007 | 18:27

    @ 17.

And btw, what da heck, MPAA aka Motion Picture Association of America, does have anything with Sony’s App?

  22. Emm
    October 23rd, 2007 | 20:14

@21, Christian, why are you replying to a complete imb3cile?

Anyway, if this tries to log your IP, a simple firewall with outgoing connections monitoring like Comodo/Outpost/KIS/ESS should be able to stop it. Also there are a few problems with connecting apps, as they leave a trail to the IP that it had been connected to for a few tens of seconds. This kinda makes the winers above big time n00bs and SONY big time l0sers!

I’d wish there were an HIV like virus for n00bs!… SO THAT ALL OF THEM WOULD JUST DIE!

  23. 08/15
    October 23rd, 2007 | 20:30

    @Emm
just read the article. you have to go online and register this release to get it working!
i think most people have a firewall and check if some app tries to go online.

    …to many noobs here!
Or maybe even Sony guys trying to spread fear about downloading this release?
They give you a free copy of their software just to log your IP
And if they collect your IP ? what then ?
Come on guys!… what a lot of crap!

I saw this to be interesting and wanted it but it didn’t come with NFO or any type of description. Sun is a new group? I don’t think so. Maybe a “front” name. I will stay away from this also. Smells like a big honeypot to me.

    So here is my question.

What kind of a scene is that , a scene that accepts f–k releases which don`t work , have no info , and whatnot ?
Sound Forge , Vegas , Jupiter 8V….., you name it.

Everybody enjoys the free ride , but if it`s not possible , i rather be realistic than stupid.
Why would SSG drop the stuff , and have some jerks take over , if there was a possibility to make it work ?

Jupiter 8V. So groups like AiR or H2O have no way to get this going.
And then some bozos , who nobody knows , pretend to have the answer. Yeah right.
    Give me a f—ing break.

And all those f–k releases are followed by endless posts , whining about the s–t not working.

Now , i don`t really want to blame people , who just want this s–t to work. Even if they`re gullible to say the least.
But a scene that lets this fly , and doesn`t do anything about it , is f–ked up and worthless.
So much about the people who want to be sooo elite.

Trust in good names. And if they don`t touch an app anymore , there is probably a good reason. Get it ?
Either use the old versions , change to another app , and…
…i know nobody wants to hear this , but if you can`t live without the app…..you might have to shell out the money for it.
Just don`t fall for those bozo groups and their nonworking s–t.

Well Dave, if all of us, except the fuc|ks above you that b!tched about it, would have your negative IQ we probably wouldn’t need Sound Forge, Vegas or Jupiter… or even computer for that matter! Get it!

Every browser object that you see in any application is mostly the Internet Explorer Core… some apps use Mozilla’s Firefox but that’s not the case.

The Internet Explorer Core is part of the Windows OS, is a different part of the system as the Internet Explorer, which is a shell, and if you strip the OS of it, Windows Explorer would lose a lot of it’s functionality. [offtopic]That however can be done by using nLite on a Windows installation source and installing a fresh copy of that nLiten Windows.[/offtopic]

As to any browser, may it be browser objects inside Win32 apps or standalone shells like IE or Maxthon, they will still follow the settings made to the IE Core.

    And that’s that! PERIOD

In this case if the application opens up inside a web page where you have to submit info then just assign a free anonymous proxy in Internet Explorer’s settings and you’re good to go.

Wasn’t that simple?… oh, bet your brain would have hurt if you stood 10 seconds just to think if it’s possible!

There are other ways more complicated but also more secure to do proxying but I doubt your feeble mind can handle it!

Regarding to SSG… well, they just give a fuc|k about whiners like you and your needs, they don’t owe you anything and can and will do as they please!
